If you’re looking for a fake smile and someone to kiss your butt, this is not the place. However if you want a talented stylist who is very honest speaks his mind and is an amazing guy, this is the place If I can help it, I won’t go anywhere else.

Small, simple, and effective. New to the area, I needed a new barber. I think i found one in Lazar. He has a nice setup, is very friendly, and he does a good job on my hair.

The barber seemed to know hair. It’s a very relaxed place, so if you happen to be in a rush the day you go for a cut, look elsewhere. I’d go back.

Normally I wouldn’t write a review, but Michael S’s review is typical of this new age where everyone’s opinion matters. Ok, $ 17 for a haircut is a rip off? How much do you expect a haircut to be? $ 5? Go to Supercuts where the kids get their hair cut and quit bothering people. Lazar is the owner/barber and does a great job. Conversation is always good and will make you feel right at home. He has coffee, water and soda available while you wait plus TV, plus magazines. I’ve been to the other spots in Natick(like right around the corner) prior to going into Avenue Barber Shop. I’ve been going to him now for over a year and have been pleased every time. The only problem is Saturday afternoons tend to be a bit busy, so go during the week if you can if you can’t stand waiting for 10 minutes. Parking is always available right across the street at the dry cleaners and you can see your car the whole time.

This place sucks do not go there!!! The guy has no idea how to cut hair. I asked for a medium fade he give me a high not even tight! Even the clippers they use look like horse clippers!!! Don’t go here it’s a big rip off!!! He charges $ 17.00 for a really bad haircut!
