History

Established in 1947.

Founded in August by Betty and Joe Greenberg purchased by Ben and Steve Greenberg, sons of Betty and Joe, in 1984. Ben Greenberg became the sole owner in 1996.

In 1967, its product line diversified to include carpeting, flooring and window treatments.

Ben has kept up with new product development, introduced product innovations and initiated state-​of-​the-​art technology.

One such program is the Rent-​A-​Quart of paint program. This exciting feature allows customers to select and test paint from over 5,000 Benjamin Moore paints. To make opening these Rent-​A-​Quart paint cans easier, Ben had screw tops produced for every can.

Ben and his team enjoy meeting and getting to know their customers. The Debsan Team is a welcome change and a breath of fresh air vs. the customer service from the big-​box stores.

Recently, Debsan introduced a new Benjamin Moor paint called Aura™, a new eco-​sensitive paint product.

Business Owner

Ben grew up in Natick, MA and is very active in local issues and events. He is a passionate believer in knowing one’s customers. He is very trusting and enjoys mentoring new small-​business owners.

He is active with a group called the Ark Builders, which voluntarily builds arks in which to hold the Torah for local synagogues.
