I hate going to the day spa by Sears for an eyebrow wax. The only reason I go is that you don’t have to make a reservation. But every time I go, I don’t know why I did it. The waxers always want to give me a lecture. Asking me if I take care of my Brows or tried shaping them myself… or even why I don’t get it done more often. Dude, I have a life. Brows might be important to you but not my priority.(and by the way, it is kind of insulting). Often they want to do the eyebrow threading. No, I don’t want threading! What do they get extra money from the eyebrow threading lobby? I had that once and it HURTLIKEHECK. So no, I am not 4, when I say I don’t want it… I mean it. After all that, usually the shape is merely tolerable. sometimes needing touch ups from me. The best is when we are done they come to cash register to just kind of hang while I am paying, I am sure to get a tip. Nope… I am not paying a tip on anything that took 2 minutes to do and costs 16 dollars. Another place I go when I am done with the service they don’t follow me to the desk to guilt trip me into tipping.

So this review is for Vanessa. I got a cut and color and it was the first time ever the stylist did something decent with my hair. She seemed to «get it» from the start what had to be done from a cut and color perspective. I went religiously for a few years, however, I had to stop because:(1) the accessory pushing. Listen up Dellaria managers… I do not want your overpriced junk product. Every time I went, they wanted to know if I wanted any of their shampoo. One time I caved and the stuff was HORRIBLE. I wouldn’t use it on my cat; and(2) the price was just too high. For a cut and color we were pushing 155.00. With a tip, I was heading to the 200 mark. That is crazy. But, if this doesn’t bother you, I would try Vanessa. She is talented.

After having a horrible experience and horrible haircut at a different Dellaria Salon in Newton Centre, I was recommended by a co-worker to go see Courtney at the Dellaria salon near JCPenny in Natick Mall. Courtney and I sat down and talked about my bad experience just yesterday at the other location in Newton and she was so very understanding and reassured me that she will do everything she can to fix it. Courtney explained each step and what she had to do in order to fix my hair. She did an amazing job! not only did she fix my hair but the salon assured me I would not pay for this appointment. The whole experience was such a relief after a bad one at another location. I highly recommend you go see her!

Never going back. I have been to Dellaria in the past and have generally had okay experiences. I wanted to like the dye job, because the hairdresser was nice, but I’m rating her hair coloring skills, not personality. Process: I am on the way to going a lighter ash/platinum blonde color. I came in with light blond full foil highlights. 1.) It took 3 hours to highlight my hair. I had the exact same done to my hair at another salon, and it took significantly less time to achieve a superior look… 2.) Essentially, my hair looks exactly the same as when I went into the salon. The hairdresser even commented at one point that it looked like she hadn’t done anything. I had asked for her to make my hair«white» blond and showed her numerous pictures. She didn’t comment on them really. At the end of the cut, she kept mentioning how it would not be healthy to go much lighter right away. Why hadn’t she mentioned how far off her results would be initially? 3.) She asked me if I wanted her to blow dry my hair all the way or just to see the color. I said the second, assuming that some sort of fee for blow drying my hair would be taken off. Nope. 4.) Instead of a hair cap, a trash-bag was used on me. Really? They were also out of some conditioner. I didn’t complain much at the salon hoping that my hair would look better in the lighting at my home, but there wasn’t any difference. I am extremely disappointed. Worst money I ever spent.

I have to say that the front desk staff were amazing. I really needed help with my hair after a stylist at another place botched it. I requested a Master stylist thinking that it woud be best. NOPE. I got an egotistical woman who keep telling me how fabulous her own hair was. And I asked for pointers on styling my type of hair… she didnt show me anything and then without asking blew it out straight. I looked worse than when I came in. Now I have to find someone to fix this mess. Customer service from this stylist… it doesnt exist.

I used to go to Dellaria’s when I was a kid to get haircuts, and then eyebrow waxings and I never had a bad experience there. In fact, I remember taking lots of risks with my hairstyles during my teen years, and loving each cut here, from bangs to bobs. My last few experiences have been pretty mediocre at best. A couple of not-so-great trims and my most recent experience, and eyebrow wax gives 2 stars. So this location is pretty small, but it was dead when I came in here on my lunch break on a weekday. I had called ahead and was put on hold for about 5 minutes, and decided to hang up and just walk in. I figured they must be swamped since i had been left on hold, but, no, there was no one in there. Someone took me right away for the eyebrow waxing and she did a good job, but I’ve had red bumps for over 48 hours, which has never happened to me before. Eek. Also, during the waxing she was trying to push a haircut on me, and I kept saying no in various diplomatic ways and she kept asking. It was weird. On top of all that, the waxing was $ 16! I think that’s robbery, considering i can get them done in Boston for $ 10. I won’t be going back.

Amanda/Mandy has since left the salon. I had a haircut with Kara and it was so-so. I have thick hair with lots of body and the first thing Kara mentions to me is a keratin straightening treatment without even asking me if I’m happy with the texture of my hair.(I am, thanks.) I’m knocking a few stars off of my original review since she mentioned this expensive treatment to me more than once while giving me a mediocre haircut. Not impressed and won’t be returning.

I scheduled an appointment with Kara for ombré and when I got there she told me that they did not have enough time to do my hair because she had another appointment in half an hour. At least she was nice. but that’s terrible customer service.

Love this place, the staff is very polite and on time. I get my hair done with Andressa and she does a great job, as well as Courtney who does my mother’s hair. Highly recommend it!

Dellaria is great! I would recommend Maranda P in Natick. She gives you exactly what you want. Very knowledgeable and great to speak with. I will never go back to barber again! I have tried salons before and being a guy I can say this is better than any i have been too.

Got my mop trimmed today. Mr. G has been going to Guido’s for years so I now go too. I do miss my place in Boston but couldn’t wait to make the trip since I no longer work down there. I have been growing my hair out for Locks of Love so I got a simple ½″ trip to clean up the ends. Sadly the price is still high even without a blow dry but on another note he did exactly what I asked for so on a happy note I didn’t come out having something I hated or didn’t want. I have gone to places and asked for one thing and got something completely different and was very disappointed so with all that said this place is still a thumbs up.

Wouldn’t bring my dog here to be groomed, and that was just how my daughter was treated at her appointment at Dellaria at the Natick Mall outside Sears. After waiting for a half an hour past her appointment time in a crummy, smelly«waiting area», a stylist called her over and asked me if she needed to wash her hair. Ummm, yes, please. ?? So she sits my daughter in the seat without a booster and just looks at her for a minute completely annoyed. Then she gets a booster that slipped right off the chair when my daughter sat on it. Luckily I was there to catch her. I had to literally hold her up with her neck on the sink so that the«stylist» could drown her with the water. No towel behind her neck, no cape, just water drenching her until I made her stop. She then informed me that was why she didn’t want to wash her hair. Fine lady, no worries, I picked up my soaking wet, eyes welling with tears little girl and got the hell out of there. Lesson learned. Never again. I wouldn’t have given any stars if that was a choice.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a frequent customer and only occasionally visit Dellaria’s other locations in Boston. However, I still expect decent service, considering(I’ve been told) I have extremely easy hair to cut and style. I handed the stylist a picture of a simple, shoulder length hair cut with side bangs and asked for the exact cut or as close as possible. I walked out with a bob that comes above my CHIN. I don’t normally make a fuss about a less than perfect haircut, but this is just embarrassingly bad. It’s nothing close to what I asked for, and when I questioned how much hair was being cut off mid-cut, I was completely dismissed. The only reason they aren’t getting one star is because they always have last minute appointments available. Most likely will never be returning, and it’s really not worth the money.

I only go to get my eyebrows threaded. They have someone who really knows what she is doing and isn’t at some kiosk in the mall. I wouldn’t trust my brows to anyone else.

The receptionist is a complete idiot.(sorry I know it sound mean but she is so so rude if you met her you would understand) She double booked me 3 times!!! and when I finally came for my appointment she never apologized. Its too bad, they lost my service I get my hair done once a month and pay a pretty penny.

Yuck man. I had a massage here because I was feeling cheap and I guess I got what I paid for. I had to wait for 45 minutes(even though I had an appointment) and people kept walking by as if I wasn’t there. Perhaps they should realize people having a massage might be a little stressed out and annoyed to begin with, so I think my pissiness might have been a bit exacerbated… but I digress. The massage was marginal at best, and then she came at my back with some sort of rock/crystal thing which HURT! Maybe it’s supposed to align my chakras or something, bring a sense of crystally peace to my being but all it did was scratch my back and make a bunch of painful red marks. Spend the extra $ 20 and go somewhere good.
