The Littlest Spa

It has been awhile, but finally had a meltdown, studying for law school, working and dealing with two teenagers (boys). My husband knew I needed to relax and told me call Amy, find the time and do it., so I did and I feel so much better. Amy can make a bad day or week so much better. I feel like a new person. I had a facial and a massage, oh I love the smells of the all the great products she put on my face, my face feels much cleaner. The back massage almost put me to sleep just so relaxing. I am greatful for Amy and the Littlest Spa.

Amy is great! My wife and I have been going to her for the past couple years and found her sensitive to our requests.

Amy is the best anywhere around. I’ve been going to Amy for mostly facials, but sometimes waxing and massages, for years. Amy is great; her prices are great; her location is great. Most recently I had a skin disaster just days before my sister’s wedding and Amy came into the spa earlier than opening just to fit me in. She is wonderful and I hope she never leaves town. A gem.

I’ve been going to Amy for a few years. Her massages are the best!!! She takes time to find out what areas you need work on and tailors her massage to help you. And she always helps. Her waxing is gentle and there is little if any redness when you walk out the door. Amy takes a genuine interest in helping her clients and she knows her stuff! She makes great recommendations if she can’t help you. I’ve never left her spa without feeling great!!! She is highly qualified… The spa is busy but I’ve never been unable to get an appointment. After going to The Littlest Spa, I won’t go anywhere else!!!

Littlest Spa is mighty relaxing. I’ve got the hot stone massage and my friend seasonal organic facial. We both felt rejuvenated, my aches and pains were gone, my friend skin was visibly smoother and younger. Amy Elisabeth is ah-​ma-​zing!

I’ve had a couple of facials here, eyebrow waxing and Amy’s head, neck and shoulders massage. All of my experiences here have been lovely. Amy makes each visit feel so comfortable and relaxing. I love this place!

I am not a spa sort of person, but this winter has been rough on my skin and nothing I’d tried helped, so I decided to give Littlest Spa a try.
The spa itself was cozy, not the least bit pretentious. I don’t really know the area, but it was still easy to find. Amy was welcoming and could tell I was a little nervous about trying something new. She put me right at ease, explaining what she was doing and why. I also appreciated the natural ingredients in the products. I felt so relaxed and comfortable I could easily have gone to sleep, except that I didn’t want to miss any of it.
Before this experience, I’d always thought facials were a bit of a waste of money, just getting someone else to do what you could do at home. I was wrong. Amy’s treatment removed blemishes from my skin that have been there so long I thought they were a permanent part of my face. The combination of the facial and the trial product Amy sent me home with have cleared up the blotches that brought me there in the first place. Amy’s converted me. I’ll be back!

Even though it is called «the littlest spa», there are some big things happening here. I just received a 60-​minute massage by Amy and I have to say it was one of the best massage’s I have had (and I’ve had a lot over the years). She genuinely tailors the massage to your personal needs and is not afraid to deviate from the predictable, routine massage that I have had so often at other places. You can also tell that she does not view your appointment as a «one more hour and I’m done» get-​em-​in, get-​em-​out. She really loves what she does and it shows in her therapy, which is refreshing. She offered me great advice about maintaining healthy muscles in between massages and was friendly, warm, and welcoming.
The spa itself is very cute and calming and she uses all natural and organic products. If you’re really into fancy spas adorned with marble floors, candles, lush leather couches, etc. you will not find it here. What you do find is an affordable, comfortable place that offers an array of facials, massages, and other services. Also, ask about karma points!

I’ve tried other places now for facials & none compare to the relaxing experience that I can have with Amy.

I’ve had a great experience with Amy at The Littlest Spa. I would give the facial/​spa experience 4 stars, and an extra star for Amy! I’ve had three sessions already — — including a facial and massage, and it was wonderful! The first time I had an appt several months ago, she was very flexible, and I made my appt that very same day. I love how you can bring canned goods/​toiletries for her charity of the month — — so you can do something good for yourself and others :). It’s a tiny quant little shop, but I love it. It’s not an upscale, pretentious, over the top type of spa — — so if that’s what you’re looking for, then maybe this is not for you, but I love how cute and comfy it is.
It’s right on the main street, and she has two room dividers between the entrance, facial, and massage areas. Though the curtains appear thin, I was assured that no one could see through it. My facials were relaxing and came with a neck and foot massage. She has a lot of great advice for skin care. I’ve had 2 massage sessions and they have been so relaxing! If you’re in the area, give it a try– — just be on time! :)

Overall, I had a great experience from booking to finish! I emailed to book an appointment and Amy responded right away. I later emailed again to see if I could get in a day earlier and again, Amy was very responsive and accommodating.
I didn’t have a problem with parking, then again my appointment was at noon on a Friday.
At first, I was kinda nervous about whipping my clothes off behind the shower curtain but Amy reassured me that while I may be able to see through the curtain, those passing by were not able to see through the curtain («magic»). So I got over that as well as my neurotic fear that someone was going to wander in for a walk in (Amy locks the door. Duh). As you can see, I’ve been a little stressed — –should have seen me before the massage! haha. I digress…
Amy is very thorough, skilled and knowledgeable. She picked up on my arm tension from too much blackberry usage (clearly, also, the source of my stress) and asked if I experience tingling or numbness (yes!). When she got to my legs, she asked if I drove a lot (yes!). She also said stuff I needed to hear — — like no one will die if I don’t respond to their damn email IMMEDIATELY (actually, that’s not exactly what she said but that’s what i need to hear). Anyway… she’s clearly wise.
I cannot wait to go back in February! CHOCOLATE FACIAL?! Sign me up!

What a great experience. The lower leg and foot massage was incredible plus having Amy explain exactly what the problem is (Plantar Fasciitis) and what needs to be done to resolve it was a helpful. Looking forward to making another appointment.

I’ve had a lot of different experiences when it comes to facials and eyebrow waxes. I’m used to upscale spas, but wanted to try a local place. Since The Littlest Spa got such great reviews, I went with that. Amy was very pleasant and knowledgeable about skincare and massages, including reflexology and prenatal care. She was very kind and even stood in a parking spot so no one would take it and filled the meter with her coins.
On the other hand, the place didn’t feel very private and the products used were cheap. The products she used on me are from a line called Eminence Organics. I use higher end products at home from Epicuren and Peter Thomas Ross, so it can’t compare. When I got home I ended up washing my face and applying my products.
I can say that during the enzyme peel and mask, she gave me amazing massages on my scalp, neck, shoulders and the added bonus of my feet. She could tell that my sinuses were full and she did a bit of reflexology on my face, which was great! I can actually breathe: D
As far as the eyebrow wax goes, I’m very particular, partially because I’ve had bad experiences, but mostly because I feel as though it brings everything together and opens a person’s eyes. I wasn’t a fan of the LycoJet Lavender hard wax. It didn’t clean up the smaller hairs, which made her need to pluck more. Needless to say, when I went back home I trimmed my brows and plucked out a bunch more hairs that were missed.
She did send me home with a pineapple body scrub and homemade bath salt which I found very sweet of her. I also forgot my necklace there and she was quick to call me so I didn’t have to drive far. I think that if The Littlest Spa carried higher end products that the price would be worth your time and money. I am moving so I can’t say I would go back, but I would recommend The Littlest Spa for bodywork, not skincare.

I went to The Littlest Spa for a massage after trying other massage places. I wish that I had gone to Amy Elizabeth in the first place. I had terrible stress in my neck and shoulders. She focused on the areas and was able to work her magic. Not only is she knowledgeable about the muscles, but she recognized that a referral to a chiropractor was the next step. Amy Elizabeth goes beyond the realm of a typical massage therapist.
She was the first and only massage therapist who told me this. Amy Elizabeth was totally honest with me and I appreciated it.
Don’t spend time with any other massage therapist. Go to The Littlest Spa first. I know I’m going to go back. The spa is tops in my book.

A very pleasant experience.
I came here not expecting much, after all, what kind of fancy facial could I expect for only $ 50? But Amy believes everyone deserves to be beautiful, and I don’t know how she does it, but she does… It was a fantastic facial! I felt pampered, and stepped out dewy and glowy. The treatments are geared towards your skin and lifestyle, and the professional skin care advice and aging counseling is absolutely free. mmmmm…
And what can beat the shower curtains? :)

I was looking for a place for some desparetely needed face care before an interview that wasn’t overpriced and hopefully from a small business owner. I saw a review from a trusted Unilocaler and made an appointment. I ran late due to my inablitiy to follow directions and had left my cell at home (Amy called to see if I was running late — needed directions, etc!). I showed up frantic because I would be livid with me: she was calm. The facial was relaxing, the waxing as painless as I can remember and samples to try of the products she has suggested. This, for me, was a huge bonus because rather than suggesting a whole sale change which everybody seems to do, she gave me some to try instead of trying to sell me stuff I wouldn’t use or products I might have purchased JUST out of guilt!
It might be «The Littlest Spa» but the service was 5+ stars and I’ll be back. The prices were great and where else can you get a foot rub when your mask is drying? I might have to try a massage next! :)

Joined Unilocal just to write a review for The Littlest Spa! (It was time. as I have been a lurker for quite a while and want to give back). I was passing through the area on business and had a day off before traveling to my next destination and desperately needed a facial. After reading some of the reviews on here, I decided to try The Littlest Spa. The intimate, warm setting was perfect (as was the warm table) and the cranberry facial was terrific. I left with samples and did not feel pressured to buy more products, although I imagine I will be contacting her on my own in the future to buy. I highly recommend this spa for the service. You get much more than what you pay for. Nice work Amy!

I have been meaning to write this review for a quite a few days. I had the fall facial and brow wax/​clean up done this past Saturday. I was very impressed with the service. First let me say the owner Amy opened up 30 minutes early to work around my schedule (+1 to her for that). Then she gave me a tour of the spa and all of the amenities. After that she started the facial which was excellently done. She gave me a shoulder and foot massage with it as well. It was very relaxing. Even though she had an appointment after she didn’t seem to rush at all. Also, unlike other spas that I’ve been to she doesn’t try to sell you certain brands after your treatment. She lets you know what type of product can help improve your skin and then you can then decide without being forced whether you want to buy it from her or elsewhere. She seems to really understand people, especially when to talk and when not to talk during the facial. I didn’t once feel interrupted during my relaxation by her talking. I should also note that her prices are beyond reasonable for the services she provides. Going to over 5 different spa’s in the last 3 years I think I have found my permanent one.

I preface this by saying that I’ve known the owner, Amy E, for several years. She’s an awesome bodyworker (I’m partial to her yummy Reflexology sessions) and last year she became an esty. Desperately in need of facial I schlepped myself over to The Littlest Spa to try out Amy’s skills in the skin care area.
Amy’s focus is on skin care education — not selling products. Thank heavens! I hate going for facials and trying to be sold $ 150 worth of skincare items that I don’t need or want. The facial was great. She was constructive and helpful about what changes I need to make to my grooming routines to help with my combination skin. But my favorite part was the foot rub! While most estheticians will leave the room during the sit-​and-​wait periods of a facial Amy rubs your feet and gives you a neck and scalp massage. Awesome!
You can’t go wrong with a $ 45 facial that includes all that!
