This place is awesome! Mr. Anaya is so helpful and honest. I first came to get my jeep smogged, (very quickly by the way) and returned when my radiator broke yesterday on my way to work. He sent someone to tow my car to his place within the hour and was very honest about what was wrong and what wasn’t. I got my jeep back today and the price and service is more than worth 5 stars. I would recommend his place to anyone that needs a mechanic. Great job! You guys are the best.

I’m glad there is Unilocal.If only Unilocal allows a below zero rating… this one’s a –10. Anaya does not honor advertised coupon. When you get there you’ll be told to pay a higher price. I found Unilocal reviews of this shop dating back to 2012 that cite same complaint in addition to its technicians suddenly finding something else is wrong in order for you to pay more. These anomalies happened to me on a Star smog test. Prior to the test I made sure my car will pass by bringing it to and instructing the dealership to perform the necessary maintenance a week earlier. Still, on top of the deceiving coupon advertisement, I had no choice but pay for a $ 6 spare part that I was told is needed replaced otherwise my car fails test. Obviously, they know that you’ve already invested your time in driving there and $ 6 is not a big deal. I would have paid for another test at a later time just because I doubted a $ 6 parts discrepancy. I’m imparting this lesson to everybody. Read Unilocal reviews first. I wish I did that. The shop’s owner is always there waiting for his next victim. His looks alone can’t be trusted. You won’t have trouble finding him in that shop because he’s the ugliest person in National City. Never go to this shop for whatever service you need. Never! Hey Unilocal,forgive me if I find myself trying to find other review sites to repost this. That’s how much negative a review this is.

Do not waste your time going to this speechless place;today I was There with ml 320 2000, I did ask the owner for the 28.99 special they have; the owner told me it was 28.99, plus 10(because it was a SUV), plus 15 star certificate, plus taxes he said, but you need the coupon, He mention that he will honor the price with the coupon. I went home I printed it out and I came back one hour later. There were two people ahead on the line, the second person on the shoppe told me the waiting time was like 40 min, I said it was ok; when it was my turn they ask me for my keys, and the second guy ask me for my DMV smog notification, when I did show to him my coupon he said, I can’t smog a Mercedes with a coupon, besides your car has a code and is not going to pass the smog test. When I did ask him what kind of code it was he told me, are you going to pay me for let u know? Because I don’t work for free. I asked for my keys back and I looked in my cell phone for another new star smog test in Chula Vista. Guess what??? Same day, same SUV, same service, 40 minutes later I got my star certificate, without coupon, without fakes codes, without drama queen and I paid 70 dlls. Really sad what people need to do for extra money, sorry guys your place didn’t work for me.
