I ordered a bouquet of flowers from 1 – 800FLOWERS. All of the issues I had were from the florist they used, which I found out from the card that came with the bouquet. NEVERORDERFROMTHISFLORIST. I wish I could give Bonita Flower’s a NEGATIVE star. I ordered a bouquet of flowers from 1 – 800FLOWERS for sam(mistake number one). After my bouquet was 2 hours late to be delivered for same-day delivery, I found out the florist from the card that came with the flowers.

Stay far away!!! This is the WORST place to get flowers and ruined my WEDDING! I hired Carmen to do the flowers for my wedding. I had a consultation with her and gave her the exact color swatch and showed her the flowers that I wanted. The color was Vera Wang Blush. My bouquet was bright pink carnations and was the ugliest thing I have ever seen! It was exactly the opposite of what we discussed and what I wanted. She found out I was upset and offered a refund. I was glad to know that she was sorry about her mistake and wanted to fix it. After a few weeks I never heard anything. I called her for 3 months about every week and she would either make an excuse or someone would say she was gone and never get back to my call. After 6 months after my wedding I have never heard from her. This was an awful experience I will never recommend Bonita Flowers or use them again!

a bit late but w/in a week of my initial review, i received an email from Carmen at Bonita Flowers apologizing for my dismal Valentines day arrangement. she also double checked my home address. i didn’t think anything of it until a delivery guy knocked on my door a day later w/a «sorry we screwed up» bouquet. it was pretty and a nice thought… however, the flowers themselves died w/in a couple days. i changed my disappointment level towards Bonita Flowers but not the quality. sorry guys.

This place is TERRIBLE! I ordered online for mother’s day and saw that the bouquets were beautiful and obviously was expecting to receive that. They told me they would be delivering from 2 – 6 and they did not get here until a quarter past 7. The flowers were so expensive and were a disappointment. DONOTWASTEYOURMONEY! I do not recommend this place at all.

There are bad florists and then there’s Bonita Flowers. I was on travel in San Diego with my fiancée during Valentine’s Day, so I planned to surprise her with some flowers arriving at the hotel. Not knowing the area, I ordered through FTD a week prior. I ordered a large bouquet for more than $ 100. Throughout the day as we came and went from the hotel, I asked the staff if there had been any deliveries. Nothing showed up. Late at night I called FTD and they don’t answer on Valentine’s Day. I had to sheepishly explain to my loved one that I had ordered flowers and they did not arrive… How romantic. On Feb 15th, we happened to be in the lobby and a delivery man was trying to sneak in and drop off a pathetic looking pile of about 10 wilting flowers thrown in a vase. I immediately recognized it as a very sub-par version of what I had ordered. I approached the delivery man and looked at the«bouquet». The bulbs on two flowers were slumped over and just hanging on. The others all had some browning. Not to mention, it was a day late. Also, it looked like a 5 year old put the arrangement together. I had ordered the deluxe version, which was supposed to include more flowers, but this clearly wasn’t what they were trying to give me. I told the delivery man this was an insult and refused delivery. I looked at the delivery slip and there was the perpetrator: «Bonita Flowers». I looked at the delivery van and saw several other flowers, which I assume were also late, since Feb 15th isn’t exactly a popular day for flowers. I assume they were as pathetic looking as the ones they tried to pass off on me. I tried calling Bonita that day and the following day, but they don’t pick up their phones. After a long wait and awful customer service from FTD(I spent over 2 hours on the phone), I was issued a full refund a week later. Take this as a warning– If you love somebody and want to send them flowers, do not use Bonita Flowers.

…WARNING…STAY-FAR-AWAY!!! Worst Florist I Have ever used in 25 plus years!!! Unorganized, clueless and completely dysfunctional… Did not deliver my wife’s and kid’s surprises on this special V-day…Left my wife crying at work because everyone else got their V-day surprises… Even after paying extra for guaranteed delivery!!! Suggestion… If you hire«the help» for your deliveries, make sure they can speak English, and can read a bing or google map…

i decided to use this florist for my nephew’s prom since i had a previously bad experience at another florist in bonita. my nephew’s prom wasn’t until june and we had gone in to order the flowers 2 ½ wks prior to allow this florist to fufill our order correctly. the day of his prom, we went in early to pick up the corsage and the boutenir only to be advised that they both would not be ready until 1:30pm. no problem. i returned at 2pm only to realized the color and the type of roses(not spray roses) were all wrong. the young man apologized and stated he would contact the owner to have this matter resolved within 30 minutes. 30 – 45 minutes passed and still the corsage and the boutenir were not fixed. by this time, i was furious and decided to leave with the wrong color and type of roses as it was getting closer and closer for my nephew to leave to meet his prom date and i made it very clear to the sales associate just how frustrated i was. as i was leaving, the owner had just pulled up with her assistant and advised that she would fix this right away. within 10 –15 mins, the boutenir and corsage were ready to go. throughout the time that i waited, the owner was apologetic. she explained how she had left a wedding in order to resolve this issue. also, she explained where she went wrong. i know this may sound like a horrible experience… but, i believe in giving businesses a chance to make up for where they might have made a mistake. i believe in giving them a fair judgement as well. i also believe in accountability. i appreciate the fact that this business was willing to resolve this issue to ensure that i was happy with the product i purchased, that they were very apologetic and that they took accountability for their mistake. because of this, i’m open to using this business again and seeing if the service will be better than the last.

Mother’s Day flowers were delivered late Saturday… no problem with this. Flowers didn’t come close to resembling the item as pictured on the FTD website. By Tuesday roses had turned brown and the daisies were all facing downward. Called the florist, no return call. E-mailed them, no response. Called FTD, and through the FTD rep, I was promised a call within the hour. No call received. My son is in the military, currently deployed, and I know the flowers cost him a pretty penny. Its a shame the flowers aren’t worth even a penny!

pros… very friendly and happy people work here. went here to get some flowers for my mom’s birthday, and they were about to close for the day. they saw me and totally helped me out. they stayed open another 10 minutes to help me. they are great. they made the bouquet and wrapped it and tied a nice big bow on it too. cons…they close at 5pm. and their parking lot is dirt and gravel. so if it rains watch out.
