I’m giving Kalusugan even though I’m here a good amount of time during the year for planning meetings because I feel it is a space that has so much more to offer. It’s been primarily focusing on a lot of health workshops but I feel Kalusugan really needs to open up and take risks and live up to its name and provide services which may traditionally line up with or challenge Filipino culture. I say this because I have a lot of hope in this place not only as a venue but as meeting place where help can be given and where people can exchange ideas and make things happen.

Great organization that focuses on promoting health and quality of life. They do clinics, table at health and wellness fairs, and provide services such as their Healthy Eating Campaign (HEC). They also allow us to use their space for our Kuya Ate Mentorship Program (KAMP) meetings!
