I saved the long winded review because it matched all the other upset customers. Frigidaire needs to cancel this contract. Well well well, master diss appointment they didn’t have my appointment in the system twice this week. I was even told my confirmation code didn’t match their records. Canceled my service call and went with another company.

Frigidaire recommended this company to repair our microwave. We called them and a repair man, named Angel, came immediately to look at our microwave. Then he looked at it, wrote down the make, model number, and serial number. He asked for a check made out to his name for $ 89.95. He said he would call Frigidaire to order parts and call us back. The check was cashed within 15 minutes. We received a call in a few days stating that the parts and service would amount to $ 450 – 500. They recommended that we buy a new microwave.
Then my husband did a little research on the internet, discovered that the door interlock switch needed replacement, and ordered the switch for $ 10. He unplugged the microwave for one day and replaced the switch. The microwave is working normally now.
This company makes money by doing a $ 90 assessment and then telling you that the microwave needs a complete overhaul. Do not trust them.

I actually never had service from this company. I was referred to contact Mastertech from my extended warranty through Fridgedaire on my dryer. I simply called to see if possibly my appointment time could be moved up. I was told I needed a call number which I had not been given. I then asked if they could look me up my name or appointment slot. I was told no. Given I was not getting any help, I requested to speak to a manager and was told she was the manger. I then asked to speak to the owner and was told the owner was not available to speak to me. The woman that got very upset and told me they had the right to refuse business to a customer. Now, do you think by that point I’d even want to give a terribly rude and unprofessional company EVER any business from me. I did call Fridgedaire extended warranty and was able to get another five star rated appliance repair company to service my dryer. I also explained what a poor customer service experience I had with Mastertech. I really don’t write negative reviews very often, but this was perhaps one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had, and from reading others reviews it does not sound like they have a very good track record when it comes to repairs.
I do hope that some folks read this and consider using another appliance repair. Bad customer service, and poor repair I’m not sure what the company does right.

I’d stay away from these guys if I were you!
After contacting Frigidaire, MasterTech came out to «fix» my 2 week old fridge after the ice maker quit. The tech seemed competent, but needed to order parts. 2 weeks later I had not heard back from MasterTech, so I called them. Their phone goes straight to a voicemail that states: «Leave a message and we’ll get back to you the following business day». You never get the option of talking with a human. That seems a bit odd, particularly if you are calling first thing in the morning. Anyway, what the message should have said was: «leave a message, so we can ignore it», because that’s what they did with my message. AND with my subsequent four or five messages over as many days. AND my email. All I wanted to know was the status of the parts they ordered.
Finally I gave up and called Frigidaire back. While on the phone with them, they called MasterTech, who claimed that the parts were on «back order». Riiiiight. Frigidaire is now having a different company look at our fridge.
So if you like to be ignored by the folks who are supposedly fixing your appliance, by all means call MasterTech Appliance Service!

I would strongly discourage anyone from working with Master Tech Appliance. There window of operation is from 9 – 2 so I had to take Tuesday off from work to be available from when the tech would be in the area. I was suppose to receive a call the day before to give me the 2 hr window and I never received it instead I get a call later that Tuesday telling me that the Tech wont be able to come out and I have been rescheduled to Thursday that week. A vacation day completely lost. So I have to schedule another vacation day that week to be available. I get a call at 9:49 am on Thursday (today) which they left a message bc I was feeding my 4 month old daughter to tell me the tech was available to come out and they needed confirmation someone was home. At exactly 10:00 am 10 min later they call to leave another message to tell me since no one got back to them that they had to reschedule to next week. I called back at 10:04 to tell them that I was home feeding my baby and I need the tech to come out. The receptionist who coordinates the work orders is the most disrespectful and unprofessional person I have ever worked with. When I complained about the situation that they had pushed me out 2 times and they wanted to reschedule me after only waiting for 10 min when I had to wait for them in a 6 hr window she responded by saying «is it that hot out there». That comment was completely uncalled for and rude. I told her to send the tech out and that I would put the review on Unilocal instead of apologizing she said the order would be cancelled and no tech would come out. Anyone who plans to work with Master tech will need to make sure the phone is strapped to your hip. So don’t go to the restroom or take a shower and definitely don’t nurse your baby when you work with them bc they will reschedule or flat out cancel your work order.

Relatively satisfied with their services.
They fixed my Frigidaire microwave.
All reservations and payments were handled over the phone.
They do not come at a particular time, but give you a time frame and call you 30 minutes before the technician arrives.
They had to come in twice, as the repair the first time did not last.
