Haven’t been here since ohhhhh 2001 maybe, but dropped in while down in the area. Still the same kinda crowd, a little rough around the edges lookingn but seriously no one makes you feel outta place. Dj was cool and played alot of old school hip hop. Used to be called Plum Crazy I think, and it hasnt seen a makeover in a decade, but its still got cheap and strong drinks and a cool crowd.

This place is dirty, and not a good environment to be in. There twice with friends and will never go back. Motorcycle gangs, thugs, shootings, overall bad place.

Great spot! Great drinks! Great service! Great music! The good night’s are Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thursday is bike night and Sunday is Funday! Not a lot of parking, but street parking is available.

Invited by an casual friend-yeah, I should’ve known when I saw the parking lot. Inside was cramped, dark and hot. Pool tables had seen better days. Loud hip hop music that wasn’t bad at all, but a speaker in the sound system kept blowing out. Drinks are generous; my glass looked like the DNA from the previous user was still on it. Ladies restroom had a shower curtain as a partition between the two toilets. The strong drink made me able to laugh it off.

Really ghetto at this place. I use to live next door to this piece of shit place. Only black people go there. The police show up every other day for fights and load motor cycles. Plus they have history of people getting killed there and stab. If your thinking about going there good luck. Sucker!!!

This place is ok. A… mid-seasoned crowd. I would say the average age is 35 – 40. It starts out slow, but you get in free if you get there before 9pm, and it gets pretty poppin around 10:30pm. They change out the DJ/type of music, and the drinks are reasonably priced. It gets packed, so that’s always fun. It doesn’t look like much at first, but you’ll have a good time. Parking is tight, so get there early then leave late. P. S. I wouldn’t call this club ghetto because it’s really not. The bodyguards do their job, dance around, and are really polite. The men and women aren’t hardcore or anything, but there are police officers that watch for(and catch) drunk drivers across the street. At least from the way the people here look, I wouldn’t expect anyone to mug me or ya know… follow me to my car or something. I will say that a lot of the attenders dress to be looked at.

This is the most ghetto club in all of the western hemisphere. If you like all that hood rap music, you will fit right in. Standing in line I thought I was going to get robbed or a gang shoot out was about to pop off. Have yo homies come with you to the bathroom… I think I saw someone get shanked using the urinal. I give it three stars because they had this kool aid lookin drink called 911 for like $ 3. I think it was jungle juice. Few cups of that shit and you will be getting carried out to the car or passed out in a near by alley. ps: Most of the people who frequent the place are from South East San Diego, so you know what to expect.

Friendly staff, i did feel a bit«out of place», but all and all I had a great experience. They had blue moon, so i was happy.

I went here with my aunt because we were waiting for the sushi restaurant down the street to open up for dinner and we wanted a beer. It was OK. I felt pretty out of place, but at least the patrons don’t make you feel that way. They were friendly and our bar tender was too(except she was wearing a Raiders tank top!). We ordered a Fat Tire and Blue Moon. The drinks were fair priced, I’m not sure if it was because it was a Monday or not, so I can’t vouch for the weekend. Our beers weren’t very cold, which sucked because they didn’t have any A/C. All in all, it wasn’t a horrible place. I definitely wouldn’t make a trip down there just to visit the place, but of for some reason I’m ever in the neighborhood, I might stop in for a not-so-cold one.

I’ve lived in NC my whole life and have always seen this place. I went with my friends to check it out the other night. Off duty COPS pat you down before you pay a 5 – 10 dollar cover… the neighborhood isn’t «black», but as another person mentioned– it’s 98% crowd there. The drinks were priced nicely, but they should be for paying 5 bucks. LADIES! As we left, my friend pointed out that you could see right into the ladies bathroom from outside. It was a low and open window.

I’m not from San Diego nor am I a regular in the nightlife of clubbing so I had hesitations on visiting a place that looks like a local bar shack. To my surprise, the place was packed with people of different walks of life. They have a pool table area, which closes down around 11pm or so, a bar area which isn’t very appealing to a non-drinker, and a large enough dance floor. The DJ was on fire playing a mixture of jams and had the dance floor packed. The restrooms were not top quality but met the needs of this girl. I will certainly be back when I’m in the area.

Okay I’ve been driving past this place to go to the mall ever since I was a little kid… All I remember was that it used to be called«PLUMCRAZY» and always had these bat signal lights out in the parking lot… Well me and my friends just decided to head down and check this spot out one random night… There were a few interesting characters in there but isn’t that what makes a bar fun? Drinks were reasonably priced and the bartender was really nice to us… I think he was on some herbal medication or something, very chill and relaxed… We were in and we were out in about 30 mins, but it is definitely a chill place to kick it and I would certainly come back… Bartender said they play a lot of old school hip hop and r&b on the weekends with a DJ and everything, so I can only imagine how that will turn out! All in all, chill place to kick it locally if you don’t wanna go through all the BS downtown, north park, PB, etc etc. Pretty roomy, plenty of TV’s and a pool table in the back… Pretty standard setup…

Came here to play some pool, ended up staying the whole night. It doesnt look too attractive from the outside, but you shouldn’t judge. I struck up conversations with some pretty interesting people and the staff even ordered a giant pizza for everyone at the bar. The Dj came in around 10 or so and starting spinning classic tracks. I think I remember hearing some blackstreet and old school dre. They had me at MJ.
