We truly enjoyed our experience at Redstone this weekend. I like the idea of texting me when our table is ready, which allowed me to sight see a bit instead of sitting around and waiting right near the host stand. Sure, it’s a bit pricey. But when we tasted our food, it was surely worth what we paid. The service was attentive and courteous. We agreed that this is the best restaurant that we have tried at National Harbor. We’ll be back.

I went there for the first time and I would definitely go back. I ordered the bbq salmon and it was beyond my expectations. They have great Mac and cheese as well. The mango margarita was also delicious. The staff was friendly and polite. We sat outside so I am unsure of the atmosphere inside

I used to like this establishment. Food is amazing. Last night the restrooms were closed due to pipe damage at the harbor. That’s understandable. While discussing the inconvenience with a male waiter this rude female waitress interrupted and told me I should be complaining to the manager. Her rude behavior was not called for. I wasn’t talking to her and she seemed frustrated. There are better jobs out there and if she needs a job tell her to contact me. I can definitely fix her rude ass.

Went here for dinner and brunch while my wife and I were visiting the National Harbor for our wedding anniversary. My wife had the buffalo wings for dinner and said they were very delicious. I had the prime dip sandwich which was also very tasty. For brunch I had the crab Benedict and my wife had the make your own omelette. Again both meals were very delicious and satisfying. Both times the wait was very short even though for dinner it seemed they were fairly busy. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 was the wait for our drinks. During dinner I chalked it up to it being fairly busy but I was still a little bit of wait, longer than reasonable for a beer and a margarita, but even during brunch the wait for 2 mimosas was was a tag longer than expected. All in all I would recommend this restaurant.

I love this location. The food never disappoints, and the scenery is divine. From the crab cakes to the steaks, you just can’t go wrong.

Not a single bad thing to write! Well, mostly… the coleslaw is a mismatch for the ribs; too mild. Location, location, location could not have been Amy better. As this is also a large bar, I suggest eating outside if you can. The Chicken Wings are grilled instead of breaded which is an awesome change. Fries are good but suggest the upgrade to baked potatoes. They also have a twist on the Banana Pudding that you may have grown up with

Worst restaurant at the Harbor!!! Don’t deliver, take down phone orders incorrectly(twice). So we had a meeting 1 block away and ordered lunch from them. They got order incorrect(how smart are they) and further more didn’t want to run across to bring the correct order!!! They would NEVEREVER earn my or my company’s business again… from a fellow National Harbor company!!!

Not great service. Took a long time for the server to greet us and then drinks took forever! The food however was really good! Not a great craft beer selection but not the worst. 1IPA1 cider 1 Pale ale and then other standards. Rotisserie chicken was amazing. So juicy and cooked perfectly. I got it regular not BBQ. AMAZING view of the river and sunset.

This restaurant is true to its rating… It is indeed a three star establishment. A solid three. When we arrived it wasn’t busy just yet, Sunday brunch was just winding down — meaning we just missed it. We grabbed a seat at the bar while we waited and I tired one of the signature drinks; consisting of pineapple infused vodka and a strawberry purée. And, yes, it was as delectable as it sounds. About a twenty minute wait and we were off to our table. We ended up with a fairly good waitress, Bijohn was cheery and helpful with the menu. We got two appetizers… The lodge cornbread and the buffalo jumbo shrimp — the portion sizes were grand! Now this isn’t your daddy’s cornbread or shrimp, it’s not what you’re used to. The cornbread was moist with just a slight kick of spice blended in. The maple butter paired nicely with it — the two were made for each other! The shrimp took it up a notch with the spice and then surprised you with cool refreshment — blue cheese dressing. Around the table we ordered salads, a burger and(surprise) more buffalo jumbo shrimp as our entrees. While the main courses didn’t prove to be as mind blowing as the appetizers, they got the job done. All in all, a pretty good dining experience. The wait between visits from the waiter and food drop offs was a little too long each time but that’s the worst I can say. Two satisfied thumbs up!

Took my fiancé for his birthday dinner and it ended up being a night with perfect warm weather and we sat right next to the window overlooking the river. Luckily, our food was great also! It’s located down the stairs next to the Ferris Wheel across from M&S grill. They have a great outdoor bar area. ~Lodge cornbread appetizer– warm corn bread with a little caramelized burnt top with sprinkles of jalapeños throughout and maple syrup butter. That is all. Get a wedge at least. At least. ~Jameson Rib Eye– big, juicy steak, perfectly seared and seasoned with peppercorn and Jameson cream sauce. Yum! ~BBQ Salmon Tacos– the amount of salmon put into this taco is crazy! It can be a meal of what normal restaurants put in a salmon meal. Not a fan of Jicama so I took all that off but the salmon was marinated very well. Really enjoyed the food as well as the service. She was very attentive and was always asking how we were doing. For the price and portion of each entrée, though it is a bit pricey it is delicious and worth it for the food that comes with a nice view!

The food was great. I really enjoyed the Ribs, fries, and coleslaw. My boyfriend was also pleased with the General Tso’s burger. The chocolate cake was to die for! The only reason I’m giving this four stars is due to our waiter. He was very awkward and didn’t make it a priority to check in on us throughout our meal. Overall, a great experience! Would highly recommend.

Came for brunch on multiple occasion as well as dinner and the food doesn’t disappoint. The brunch is fantastic! The breads are delicious. Not sure why the restaurants gets 3 stars but if you’re in the mood for a brunch buffet that offers a perfect balance of breakfast and lunch food then you should give it a try…

Redstone has a pretty good reputation with my family right now. Have been here before but went again this weekend for Mother’s Day. Typically, I don’t like to go out to eat this weekend as everything is normally extremely crowded. The other disappointing thing about eating out on most holiday weekends is that there’s always a limited menu. For Redstone, they added a brunch buffet, which had a good selection and was very tasty from what I hear. To my surprise, their limited menu included a few of my favorites like the buffalo shrimp and the ribs. I ordered the shrimp appetizer along with a caesar salad for my meal. The shrimp accompanied with blue cheese crumbles were amazing as always, but I had actually forgotten that I’m not a fan of their caesar salad; tastes watery to me. Overall, good service, good menu choices, no wait on the Saturday morning before Mother’s Day.

Good food and good company made this a great choice for a late Friday night dinner. Originally we were in Alexandria, but made a last minute choice to go to National Harbor. We were given a wait time at 8:50 of a 30 – 40 min wait, which was not appealing! But after about 20 mins we were seated. A very friendly bartender warned us to not forgo the Buffalo shrimp-so we obeyed lol. They were literally huge and really prepared well with just the right amount of kick! We also ordered jerk chicken fondue, wings(plain with sauce on the side) and the grilled meatloaf with Mac and cheese. Yes that is a lot of food for two people– but that’s what happens when you eat lunch at 1pm and dinner 8 hours later! The mac and cheese was standard but satisfying. The wings were not bad but lacked a real flavor. The jerk chicken fondue had very yummy cheese but not enough to warrant ordering. Upon returning I’ll definitely go for the crab dip instead! The grilled meatloaf was not bad — heavy and large enough to share. I rate this 4 stars primarily due to the yummy drink(strawberry Dolli) delicious shrimp and warm atmosphere(a fire blazing on a damp rainy night was a nice touch) and the fact that you’re in a primary location enjoying a nice meal.

I went to Redstone American Gill for appetizers only while visiting National Harbor. The restaurant was open earlier than most food places. We were kindly greeted after entering by a hostess. I had RAG jumbo buffalo shrimp with bleu cheese appetizer(half order– 3 jumbo shrimp). Portions for the shrimp could have been bigger in my opinion. The shrimp was tasty and cooked well. We sat at the bar, service was average at best(not busy). The dining area has televisions for customers to watch sports. Redstone American Gill has a really nice romantic/classy ambience. Its plenty of parking surrounding the restaurant(street parking & decks).Redstone American Gill patio and parts of the dining area has great views of National Harbor. I give Redstone American Gill a 3.5 rating.

Well well well… this was a great experience. My sister, her date, and I went for restaurant week. A 3 course meal for $ 38 bones which you can BEAT. I had the crab dip to start which was really good and I also ordered the Buffalo Blu Cheese Shrimp which were the BOMB. Then I had the BBQ Short Rib with mash potatoes and string beans which was pretty good. Then I ended the meal with a chocolate chip cookie skillet sundae which was just right. Overall it was a great experience and our server was great. The strawberry lemonade is really good as well; I will def return. Omg the cornbread is phenomenal I mean PHENOMENAL!!!

Came here with a friend for a quick lunch. Our view was great, right next to he water but we were indoors and I ordered a flatbread. The food was great but it was on the pricey side but everything at the national harbor is pricey so it’s understandable. Service was great too and our server did a great job refilling out drinks. I would come back here again.

Soooo… Well first things first. Salty. Second thing worth mentioning… SALTY Ummm next up… I would tell you about how cool and collected the waiter(Tyrone) was but my heart is beating thru my lil minority, predisposed hypertensive CHEST… …THISSHIZWASREALLYSALTYMAN. And I am the damn salt MASTER! I’d mine the ish in my back yard if I could, that’s how much I love salt. I’m telling you… I was not ready! I’m the kindve dick that will season the food before tasting it in most cases just KNOWING that your salt game ain’t sh-… By the grace of sweet heart attack jesus I didn’t this time. They attempted to rectify the problem but alas to no avail. THESHIZWASREALLYEFFINSALTY. BRUHHH…SMH Cornbread was Overrateeeeeeed! Ribs were salty moist and chicken was salty dry. Views of the harbor and ferris wheel at night, breathtaking. Ambience-B+.(I really like the water and boats) Overall, I needed a water pill upon leaving BUT the service was cool and well… …the service was cool. And ooh! A store full of Marshmallow Peeps! SQUIRREL! Final word: Uhhh… 3⁄5 sodium riddled noms because I believe they tried. :)

My family and I were staying at the nearby Gaylord hotel so we came to Redstone for brunch. I was surprised that we were able to be seated immediately even though we rolled through around noon. The restaurant is right on the water so there were some pretty views of the Potomac River and the Capitol Wheel. After we placed our orders our waitress brought over a complimentary apple streusel for our table. This was really good and we demolished it! As for my meal I ordered the crab egg benedict. This is my usual brunch order at most restaurants and this one was just okay. The poached eggs were overcooked and weren’t runny as they should’ve been. Also, I wasn’t a big fan of the garlic spinach on the benedict, but that might just be me. Service was fine although we had to wait a while for refills on the coffee. I’d probably come back to see what they offer for dinner.

Pretty decent place. The service, as many people have mentioned, isn’t that great. I didn’t get my water re-filled at all, and the beer refills took awhile. Our burgers also took awhile to make, and we didn’t have utensils for the first 20 minutes we sat there(through our appetizer). The cornbread was pretty awesome. Very moist, little corn and jalapeño pieces, and slightly crispy outside. I got a turkey sandwich and that was alright. Glad I got the aoili on the side because man that was strong! There was a decent amount of turkey, the bread was slightly crispy and pretty addictive… and the sandwich was good, but it wasn’t anything I would dream about. I chose steamed veggies(asparagus) instead of the typical side(had to pay extra $ 2), and the asparagus was a little dry and overcooked. The best parts of the restaurant were the cornbread and the view of the ferris wheel at night.
