Brian’s Professional Cleaning & Restoration was started in 1985 by a 20-year old Brian M. Schmidt as a one-man, house-to-house, carpet and furniture cleaning business out of his home. Brian has built his company with much hard work and perseverance, and today the company has over 100 employees, including a fleet of 14 trucks and a site restoration trailer, spread over the four-division company. In 2003, Brian opened the floor covering division of the company. Our beautiful 4500 square foot showroom is located just 2 blocks north of our 26,000 square foot corporate operations center on Route 191 in historic downtown Nazareth. The company continues to grow due to superior customer service, professional employees, conscientious leadership, and most importantly, the continued satisfaction of our customers. Brian’s Professional Cleaning & Restoration was started in 1985 by a 19-year old Brian M. Schmidt as a one-man, house-to-house, carpet and furniture cleaning business out of his home.

Brian has built his company with much hard work and perseverance, and today the company has over 100 employees, including a fleet of 14 trucks and a site restoration trailer, spread over the four-division company. In 2003, Brian opened the floor covering division of the company. Dealing with Brian’s Professional was a nightmare. I should have noticed the red flags when the manager came to measure and told me he adds a few extra square feet for his beer money. They were the only floor company in the area who reassured me they could have the job done by my deadline. After weeks of stalling, they finally scheduled hardwood floor refinishing and vinyl floor installation on the same day — -not possible! When I tried to cancel due to the fact that they hadn’t even started the job and I was already dissatisfied, I was told they’d already ordered the vinyl so I’d need to pick it up myself and pay for it. With no choice but to let them do the installation, I finally got the vinyl installed,(Past our deadline) but had to find an alternative for the hardwood floors. The installer must have been in a real hurry, he needed to borrow my husband’s tools, and apparently never learned how to install cove base, or cut a straight line. I was pretty disappointed in the job as a whole, contacted the company with pictures and had to have the installer return to fix the areas he «didn’t think would be noticable» .
Now all I had to do was get my refund on my overpayment since I (thank God) did not allow them to do the hardwood. Today I got my overpayment back, a whopping $ 293.00 (you’d think i was asking for a million dollars) but was first verbally abused and made to feel as if I was some stupid residential customer wasting their time. The worst part is I believe the asshole I dealt with today is the owner.
My guess is that this explains why they do so much advertising because obviously, with this kind of service, word of mouth isn’t gonna cut it but hopefully it will keep you from making the same mistake I did.
Would have given a negative rating if possible.

We were smart enough to get two dogs at about the same time– neither of which were house trained. Great idea when you move into a new construction home with two levels of white carpet. Who’s a genius? Not this girl.
SO, obviously within about 3 months we needed a professional carpet cleaner. After dealing with the frustration of the Yellow Pages (gasp, I didn’t think to use Unilocal) we found Brian’s. Gave them a call and they were friendly from the beginning and available first thing the next morning. Appointment set immediately, as both my husband’s family and my family had decided to schedule an impromptu visit at the end of the week. Joy.
Both floors (and a suede couch) done in less than 2 hours (no easy feat) for a reasonable and almost cheap price. I would have been willing to pay more than for the incredible job they did. Furthermore, they were professional and courteous. Friendly, even.
Because the first job was so well done, we called them a second time to do the upstairs carpet. Foot traffic had just made the carpet look «bleh», and my one dog is a spiteful… «female dog». Once again, professional, courteous, and quick! Bonus? They did our stairs for us free of charge. Once again, reasonable and almost cheap price for the job, and the job was very well done– our white carpet looked WHITE again. Not ecru, eggshell, or cream. WHITE.
They’ll be receiving another call from us soon to revamp our upstairs carpet once again. We don’t bother even looking for another cleaning service– truly a great business in the Lehigh Valley region.
