Business Owner

Michelle LaPointe, B.A., MSOM, L. Ac, LMT, is a licensed practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She grew up in Hampden, Maine where she began to develop an increasing interest in health and medicine. Taking this interest to college, Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts in a self-​designed major focusing on Environmental Education and Western Herbalism. She continued to expand her scope of practice by receiving a 1000-​hour certificate in Massage Therapy from Boulder College of Massage Therapy.

Michelle received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. The comprehensive 4-​year degree covered both Eastern and Western medical studies and extensive internships and clinical hours. Since graduating, Michelle has been in private practice in both Nederland and Boulder. In her practice Michelle strives to integrate acupuncture and bodywork to suit each individual.
