We used Sara for a 40th birthday party last weekend (~40 people) and were very impressed with her music selection, easy set up of equipment, mellow personality and most importantly the great atmosphere she developed on the dance floor. The crowd booed when she announced the last song — a perfect sign that everyone had a great time. Our communication with her throughout the process was very reliable and we felt very comfortable. Would love to use her again in the future.

When first planning our wedding, we were set on doing the music ourselves because we wanted it to be low-​key, non-​intrusive and inexpensive. However, after discovering how hard it would be to rent and set-​up the music equipment ourselves, we decided to get a DJ instead and were very excited to find Sara. Sara was incredibly easy to work with and provided everything we wanted: wonderful music, great sound quality and no «showboating» (you know the wedding DJs that do this). Additionally, she was incredibly responsive to emails, went out of her way to meet with us in our neighborhood and had a clear, simple contract. At our wedding and after we had many people comment to us about how great the music was and how great Sara was — in particular, our guests ruthlessly harassed her about playing a song that she did not have and she wonderfully and graciously was able to download it on-​site and play it for the crowd. I can’t recommend Sara enough. We are very glad that we decided to get a DJ instead of doing the music ourselves, and I think the main reason we feel that way is because Sara was so great.
