Wayne Towle Master Finishing & Restoration

We had heard good things about Wayne Towle’s company but had zero response from our inquiries. We called twice, a month apart, left messages both times, and no one called back. I also used their email «contact us» link twice and got no response. If they are too busy, I understand. But common courtesy of a return phone call is not too much to ask.

my 90 year old parents had a high back dining room chair that needed repairs. the folks from wayne towle could not have been more helpful. they were responsive, paid great attention to detail and went way out of their way to be helpful. i would not hesitate to use them again and without hesitation do highly recommend them.

I had a family piece with curved glass that was in poor shape. I had specific instructions that I wanted done and this was the only place that heard my wishes and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. I traveled 40 miles for this place and would do it again! They have a large operation in a quiet neighborhood. Their staff were helpful and accommodating. They took good care of my piece and respected the view and wishes I had.

Fancy ads, but very poor customer service. Brought in a pedestal table that needed repair and refinishing late one afternoon. Was told the «estimator» was not there but would be in the next morning, and that I would receive an email or phone call with my estimate. Waited an entire week. Called once, but was told the estimator had previously booked appointments. Finally got a call from the estimator using my name and asking if I could get more fabric for my chair. I told her she had the right person but the wrong piece of furniture, and that I had brought in a table. She sounded totally confused and claimed to have another customer with my same name. It is an unusual name, so I knew she was way off base. I told her to call me back when she figured it all out. Perhaps 10 minutes later she called to tell me she had sent me an estimate by email, but wanted to go over it with me. The estimate was ridiculously expensive, and the one attached to the email had a date on it that was 5 days earlier. She either pre-​dated the estimate, or she had done it a day and a half after I brought it in, and then failed to call or email it to me four another 5 days. It was certainly not done in a timely manner. Told her I would pick up my table, and I did. Had to thank their receptionist for wasting an entire week of my time. I have company coming, and need the table repaired. They are VERY OVERPRICED, and terribly inefficient! Would never recommend them or go there again.
