History
Established in 2015.
Ginger Edwards had been growing vegetables and foraging the bountiful forests along the Nehalem River in coastal Oregon for seven successful seasons. Running a vegetable CSA and attending farmers markets, she had a vision of a place where people could connect with their food through workshops, farm-to-table events, and a farm store. With a few years of experience hosting guests at her two rentable off-grid cabins on her personal homestead, an organic bed and breakfast was the next logical step. In early 2015, Ginger and her partner, Brigham, along with dedicated friends, volunteers and farmhands, began renovations on the old 1930’s farm house, transforming it into what is a now a hip and elegant farm-based bed and breakfast. Now in its first season of operation, North Fork 53 is attracting people from far and wide who want to reconnect with their food, explore the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast, rejuvenate and relax.
