I offer professional mathematics tutoring in: Arithmetic, Pre-​Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-​Calculus and Trigonometry.

History

Established in 2007.

My tutoring career began while I was in college. I was a work-​study tutor for the learning center. I also tutored for Upward Bound and Project Stay programs while earning my Bachelor of Science degree.

After graduation, I worked in a different field for a few years, and discovered that I was not happy with my career. The last time I enjoyed working was when I was tutoring. Fortunately, I found Sylvan Learning Center, where I taught all grade levels of math, reading, and study skills.

After Sylvan closed down, I went to work at Crowder College as their math tutor. While employed as a tutor, I also taught Arithmetic and Basic Algebra classes. My favorite job was tutoring. I was their tutor for 8 years. Now, I do online tutoring or private tutoring.

I have more than 12 years of experience tutoring high school and college students in math, from algebra to calculus. I was the math tutor at Crowder College for 8 years.

The best part about tutoring is watching a student’s emotions go from frustration and confusion, to enlightened and excited.

Math doesn’t have to be as hard as some make it. I try to make it as easy and understandable as possible by explaining it in plain English.
