This is a full service florist. We carry only the finest flowers. Beautiful roses, gerbera daisys etc. Our arrangements are gorgeous & last. We also have a wide variety of plants & dishgardens. We deliver. The shop generally closes from noon to 1:30 to make deliveries. We also make fruit & gourmet baskets. Best hidden secret in Neptune City! We deliver to all local funeral homes & Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

History

Established in 2001.

This shop was opened on Sept. 22, 2001…11 days after 9/​ll. I am the owner & run the show. I started his business from scratch. I’ve always had a passion for flowers & the time was right so my husband & I made a go. I believe in good customer service & providing the BEST flowers. Which speaks for the shop’s longevity. Located on busy Highway 35 it still amazes me when I hear that door open.

Ordered flowers for a friend over the phone in the morning and they were delivered by lunch time. The bouquet was beautiful, fresh, and seasonal. Sparrow’s Nest was super easy to work with and the woman I dealt with over the phone was very pleasant and helpful.
I was glad to purchase from a local florist and I also got the perks of dealing with a local business. I expressed that I didn’t want to disturb my friend with the delivery, meaning I didn’t want her having to deal with any random phone calls and missed packages. What they assured me was that if upon delivery nobody answered the door, she would take a picture of the flowers at the door step and text it to my friend. That’s exactly what she did and it worked like a charm. Great idea and so glad they thought of a smart method to get flowers to people without disruption!
I’m not from the area but should I ever need flowers delivered in the Jersey shore area again, I will definitely use Sparrow’s Nest! Such a smooth and easy transaction.
