History
Established in 2001.
Matt obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1995. After college, he worked for a law firm in California from September 1996 to May 1997, before returning to New Jersey to attend Rutgers Law School. During law school Matt worked for both the Ocean County and Camden County Prosecutor’s Offices. In September of 2000, following his graduation, Matt was selected for a judicial clerkship in Monmouth County Superior Court and clerked for the Honorable James A. Kennedy, J.S.C.
Matt was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in March of that year and admitted to practice U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey in September. Upon completion of his clerkship in 2001, he joined the law firm of Nelson & Fromer, where he specializes in the field of criminal defense, in both Municipal and Superior courts. In 2010, Matt was named a partner in the firm, currently named Nelson, Fromer, Crocco & Jordan.
