Went to the store for the first time, and let’s say they have poor customer service. As a first time customer this will be my last at this location.

Needed to get an oil change in my wife’s Jeep on a Sunday before leaving town for the week on Monday. Saw on their website that they’re open until 5pm on Sunday. Pulled into the parking lot at 4:30 and was concerned when I saw the OPEN light not illuminated. Walked in and asked if I could still get an oil change today. Was told I couldn’t because Oil Changes take an hour. Surprised it would take an hour to complete a 15 minute service with no one in the waiting room, I asked why so long. I was told, «We do a thorough inspection.» I replied it was the longest I had ever heard for an Oil Change. At that point, their employee suggested I go up the highway one exit to Valvoline Instant Oil Change. Maybe next time I’ll try that, as clearly Ken Towerys doesn’t want my business.

Nice guys. They offer decent bargains but I question their quality. For an 11 am appointment I was asked at 11:45 if I wanted an air filter changed. When I said ‘no thanks’ he said he’d have them drain the oil pan. … Actually started the oils change 45 minutes late waiting to find a shop with the specific air filter they could charge me for. Absolutely infuriating. This is my second experience of the like. Even when they aren’t greedy and inconsiderate they are slow. Go elsewhere!

I had used this store for many years and was happy with their service but more recently I have been dissapointed. I make an appointment and still have to wait a long time before they even get to me. The last time I bought tires, they added the road hazard cost without even asking me (discovered this later when I looked at the receipt.) My son-​in-​law took his car in for a coupon special oil change and they gave him a whole list of things that they said needed to be done and most of the things they listed was bogus. I have lost faith in their service and integrity and am now going elsewhere for service and tires. I am sad to report this because I enjoyed having a reliable and honest place to take my car, but apparently their policies have changed. For having the highest shop time cost in the area, one would expect more.

Recommended the MOST EXPENSIVE option possible. Wanted to replace major parts on an old car with brand new parts. Second opinion at a different shop says the parts don’t need to be replaced at all. Saved me $ 1500!!! Rip Off Alert!!!

The Ken Towery’s Tire and AutoCare center in New Albany is the only place I’ll take my car for repairs. After years of working with this particular location, I totally trust and respect the employees, especially the manager, Gary. I’ve had the typical oil changes and tire repairs, but they have also fixed several things under the hood for me as well. The prices for their tires can’t be beat, believe me, I always do my research! They will let you know when belts, filters, wipers, etc. are in need of replacement without putting sales pressure on you to do it today. The only downside is that they don’t have a shuttle service, so you need to get a ride if your car is going to be there all day. If you do wait for your car to be serviced, there are several fast food joints within walking distance. Another bonus, coupons can easily be obtained on line to help reduce your expenses.
