Description

Specialties

Motion Studio is a fusion of dance, music, art and wellness under one roof. We provide instruction to children and adults.

It is our goal to provide a fresh new perspective on educating young dancers, artists and musicians in a nurturing artistic environment, focused on cooperative, non-competitive production and performance opportunities AND a place to practice yoga, Pilates, and Zumba under expert instruction.

Motion Studio is a non-competition dance school. Our Recital Division dancers take part in age appropriate, non competition dance performances to culminate the school year and within the community during the year. Motion Studio also offers Recreational Division classes in easy to commit to 6 week sessions that do not have performances.

Art classes for kids and adults and private music lessons are available too. Watch your your artists and musicians blossom in skill and creativity at Motion Studio.

History

Established in 2008.

Motion Studio began in 2008 housed in the Calumet Building on Spring St. in New Albany. We have since expanded twice and added art and music to our curriculum.
