McDonald’s

I know what y’all maybe thinking, who in their right mind would post a Unilocal about a McDonalds? Well I guess me, don’t know if my mind’s so right, but here it is– My girlfriend and I were driving from Austin to San Antonio and I stopped at a Pilot gas station in South New Bruanfels to fuel up. My girlfriend went inside to get coffee, what I figured to be gas station coffee. When I went inside to look for her I couldn’t find her anywhere, not near the coffee, not at the cash register, maybe in the restroom, who knows? So I’m waiting around and I look to my left and I see her standing in line for, gasp– McDonalds! Now I’m pretty excited, my girlfriend hates fast food, and I pretend to, but really. I noticed shes ordering something and the guy and gal are all flabbergasted and look confused, what’s going on I wonder.
So I walk up to her, «What’cha doing?»
«Well I saw that McDonalds had a sign that said now serving espresso and cappucino, so I asked the if they actually make it fresh or is it packaged, and the guy said they grind the beans, so I asked him for an americano…»
«Really?»
“Yeah I just told them how to make it so they’re figuring it out.”
«An americano, at McDonalds? Wow…»
So the crew at McDonalds pulled through, and since it’s a dollar for an espresso shot and all they had to do was add it to the hot water, the large americano was $ 1 plus the tax. So at a McDonalds inside a Pilot Gas Station just south of New Bruanfels, they are now serving americanos.
