Great for lighting fixtures. I am converting a house to a rental and I needed several lighting fixtures. Very reasonable prices. I bought a 2 pack of lighting fixtures, NIB, for half the price ($ 15) that Menard’s was selling the same fixtures for. I also picked up a mod-​looking bathroom light that had never been used for $ 30. Some of their fixtures were only $ 1.
This is also a great place to pick up interior and exterior door knobs, I picked up an exterior locking door knob set with keys, NIB for just $ 5.

Much of their stuff is pretty beat up, chipped, and dirty. Only when they have the 50% off sales are the prices reasonable. One time I saw the same entertainment center as the one we had at home (which we bought on craigslist for $ 100) priced at $ 300. In price comparisons with Menards, they are usually 10−20% cheaper, but most of the time I am shocked by how high the price is given the quality of the inventory.

This place has EVERYTHING you could ever want for your home and if you’re handy you can find awesome deals of ceramic tiles, plumbing hardware, lighting, six panel doors, windows. Great place to stop in every now and then.

I like to reuse, recycle and re-​purpose and this is a great place for doing that. If you’re a contractor with extra supplies from a completed job; donate them here for a tax write-​off. If you need inexpensive new and used stuff this is the place where your money supports the US and not China. It’s good to have a list of measurements from your house in a smartphone or just a sheet of paper because you’ll see an appliance or door and wonder if it will fit.
