H&R Block

I went in and got my taxes done here a few weeks ago. And it’s safe to say that I won’t be going back here again. My appointment was on a Sunday at noon and my person wasn’t available to see me. So after waiting for about 45, minutes, a young woman by the name of Arti offered to get me started. She was very polite and nice. I just don’t think that she was very competent. She seemed unsure about everything that she did. I returned later with paperwork, and even on my second trip back, we were’t able to get finished up. I had to make a 3^rd visit. And when I arrived that time, she was no where to be found, and the receptionist told me that she wasn’t coming in. I asked for my paperwork back so that I could go to a different tax services company. And the receptionist told me that she had no idea where the paperwork was kept. At that moment, Arti showed up and apologized. When we were situated at a desk, she seemed to be in a flustered rush the entire time. She kept telling me how someone else was supposed to be using that space and asked me if I would mind coming back. I told her that I couldn’t keep coming up there. She finally finished and when it was all said and done, I was stuck with a huge bill with a tax refund that I’m not even confident was correct… Next year, I’m e-​filing.
