The place does not look clean, fast pace & the waitress are a bit rude! The food I ordered took a little longer & when I finally received it, was not cook & there was a piece of meat, I guess from some body else’s order so my thought was that they don’t clean the grilln

I love this place. Been here like 5 times now and left happy and full every time. I think best Mexican food in NJ. Will compete with any restaurant in the west coast!!! Best Tamales I’ve ever had for sure!!!

I came here since their tamales were recommended. The place is informal and bright in color. The layout of the space is awkward – there are seating spaces in front and above upstairs. I came to get an order of tamales to go, and there wasn’t much room in the pay area to wait around. Fortunately the food came quick. The jalapeño(vegetarian) tamales were delicious!

Punto. Y Coma is a small Mexican restaurant with a big following. It offers appetizers, fresh guacamole and salsas, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, enchiladas, carnitas, fajitas, tostadas and soups, chicken, pork, beef, seafood and vegetarian specials, combination platters and homemade chips, corn and flour tortillas. It also has breakfast and lunch specials a kids’ menu, plenty of beverage and dessert choices, party platters, catering and take-out.

I LOVE this place! I have tried many other authentic Mexican restaurants in The New Brunswick area, however, this one is my favorite! They have takeout and table service and the servers are super sweet. A Mexican friend of my moms from Oaxaca recommended this restaurant for really good tamales but i had the chicken torta and it was also very good. The tamales were $ 1.5 ea. but they were big and very good! I also had an agua de jamaica and it was very fresh. Overall its a very good place and I would definitely recommend it if you are i. search of authentic Mexican food !

¡bienvenidos a México, NJ! super authentic Mexican food with almost entirely Mexican clientele, and narcocorrido videos on the TV. pretty good selection on the menu — breakfast, lunch, and dinner available; large filling serving sizes at reasonable prices. i tried the chilaquiles verdes with carne asada and eggs and was pleased with my experience. definitely a bit of a hole in the wall place, just a few tables in a simple environment but they had fresh flowers in vases on each table which was cool.

First time I visited, I got three tacos for $ 5, and they came with sides of grilled jalapeño and onion, plenty of fresh radish, a cup of spicy pickled veggies, and some A+ quality house salsas. The meat wasn’t seasoned perfectly, and the tortillas weren’t the freshest, but the overall effect was still amazing due to quality, fresh, authentic toppings. But that must have been beginners’ luck. Place still isn’t bad, but they have yet to match the high level of quality from that first visit. Why? I have no idea.
