EMC Towing

I used to go to a body shop down the street on FM1485 @ Loop 494 to get my car’s safety inspection done because my grandpa was good friends with the owner, but they were always rude and slow, even when the owner saw me and we chatted. You’d think you’d get decent service from a place where you actually know the owner, but not with that shop. Finally one day I had enough and left then I ran across a sign for EMC. Ever since I now only go to EMC. They have always been friendly, and even when they are busy they run such a professional and efficient shop that the wait is never unbearably long. I had a pretty bad wreck one day and their wrecker ended up towing my totaled Lincoln to their lot; I stopped by a few days later to gather some personal things from the car and the driver recognized me and asked how I was feeling and told his co-​worker who I was. The guy’s co-​worker asked how I was doing. I could tell they actually cared and weren’t just making conversation. I don’t think they’ll ever give me a reason to go someplace else. Keep up the good work EMC!

Run from this place, as a Über driver I get to sometimes see life from another’s viewpoint on this particular day I picked up a rider she had been in a accident with a rental car & had spent the night in the hospital she was tired sore and had already been through hell and back, I drove her out to this place EMC towing, over 35 miles away, in New Caney, she’d asked me to wait she just wanted to get her stuff out of the car so I said ok, And went into the place to use the bathroom as she went into the place at first she was ignored for a good 7 minutes and then when a guy came to the counter he gave her all kinds of hell about he couldn’t let take her stuff because she had no car rental agreement and he made no attempt to call the car rental place either long story short I had to take the woman back to the IAH to get a copy of the rental agreement at which time the rental car agent told her that EMC shouldn’t have required the rental agreement the car was totaled and the they could have simply called to verify her I.D.
But what worse of all I was left to wonder were they treating her this way because she was a lesbian or was it because she was black or maybe both I don’t know but it was evident from my viewpoint there was a underlying dislike of this lady, and the way they glared at her.

Went for an inspection. Waited five minutes but nobody ever came inside and spoke with me, so I left. I never got more than a disinterested glance from the guys in th It was the sort of fast, friendly service you would expect from a tow/​storage lot.
