History

Established in 1983.

In 1939, the Crivellis opened their first automobile franchise which was a Nash Agency They operated the new dealership until 1941 when World War II curtailed auto dealership activities until after the war

During those years the Crivelli family had also built a trucking company and builder’s supply

In 1955 Nicola, Carmella and their eight children secured a Chevrolet franchise for the McKees Rocks area In 1977 a Crivelli auto dealership opened in Beaver 1980 in Franklin,

1983 in New Castle 1989 in Mt Pleasant 1992 in Hopewell and 1994 in Reno The Crivelli family now represents the following automotive franchises Chevrolet, Buick GMC Ford Subaru and a full service Pre Owned Superstore. 295 full time employees draw their livelihood from the Crivelli stores That number includes over 21 Crivelli family members as well

I“ve been in this business since 1974, Started washing cars out of high school, worked in the service dept changing tires and brakes. Then worked in the parts dept stocking parts and working the counter. From there I started working in the auto body repair shop and after 5 years became the manager. From that position in 1994 I moved up to the position as the service director. I then took classes at CCBC and aquired an associate degree in business and attended the Chevrolet Dealer Management Academy. In the year 2000 I came to New Castle to help my dad who is now 85 years old and still drives up 2 times a week from Pittsburgh to help me out. So, when I say that I’ve been doing this since I was a kid, it“s not just a saying it’s the truth.
