Ray’s Pizza & Restaurant

No salad or even any bread delivered in there lunch special. Also don’t argue with your costumer!

I’ll say the meat sauce was very good. But I broke my rule about pizzeria veal parm and found I should not have ordered something you can’t return. Literally a black mass of «meat» hidden by congealed cheese. Had to be very old. I don’t order pizza/​Italian delivery often and won’t again for a long time.

We’ve ordered from here numerous times and always have had great food… until tonight. Calamari was very rubbery. Marsala roll was burnt and really chewy. Chicken parm sandwich had no cheese on half the sandwich. Very disappointed in our once favorite places. Think it’s time to find another pizza place

Good pizza nice selection happened to come here after having a bad experience in the business next door. If your ever in new city stop buy pizza is great!

I am OCD with cleanliness and quality, and this place is TOPS for me in the ENTIRE TOWN!!!

This was so bad. Mozzarella sticks were seriously barely-​cooked string cheese (we could pull it apart!) fried in some thick cakey batter. Salad tomatoes had the consistency that only happens when they are frozen and then thawed. Somehow they were able to make eggplant dry even though it was sitting in sauce. Spaghetti was mysteriously cut into inch-​long kid-​sized bites. All hot foods came cold, except the bread which remained uncooked in the center. And delivery was over an hour, forgivable only when food is edible.
The bottled soda rocked. So there’s that.

Good pizza, good meatball sandwich. But my only complaint is the customer service. The owner as well as other employees are very rude. Customer service matters just as much as the food. One time I ordered a big order since I had guests over and I spent over $ 60 and I asked for a cup of marinara sauce on the side for the garlic knots and they had the audacity to charge me for it. I was with one of my guests who came along to help me carry out all of the food to the car and she was absolutely appalled. The garlic knots were nothing to brag about either, it’s just a twisted piece of dough tossed in to the oven with no real garlic on it. Also, they put out promotions and then get an attitude when you want to take advantage of one. Their attitude has me seeking out other pizza shops who has good pizza & good customer service. After reading other people’s posts, it seems customer service seems to be the main draw back. There’s a ton of pizza shops in New City, so Ray’s Pizza can easily be replaced.

Good food, delivery does take awhile but if you can wait it’s good. I order on Seamless: never any issues

There’s something about the dough!!! I love the pizza here. i like their buy 1 get one for 4 dollars. It doesnt really help my health/​fitness goals but it sure down satisfy my hunger pangs.
Its right across from dominos pizza, so you have your choices and there is another like 8 pizza shops down main street, but i still end up coming to this one. They are always nice to me when i go there so i dont understand the negative reviews.
Def come by this place. They have a solid sitting area, bathrooms and tv’s. Its not the nices place but it sure does work.

Horrible customer service. Took two hours for delivery. Food was cold but tasty. Man who answered the phone was rude. Delivery kid was nice.

We had a thin crust broccoli pie which was fantastic. Meatball parm hero was great too. This place is a winner.

Just happened to try Ray’s last night. It was snowing. Ordered a pizza and a chicken Parm hero. What a pleasant surprise ! My kids loved the pizza and the hero was delicious. This will definitely by our new place to use. The prices are very reasonable and the delivery was quick.

Ok food and terrible, terrible service. After calling in our order we were informed that it would be a half hour… half hour came and went. Finally after 50 minutes of no delivery we called and were informed by the person who took the order that they should be there any minute. No one expects a delivery to arrive to the exact second, but a long delay and no apology by the management is poor.

Delicious pizza, rolls & dinners. Great quality food. Quick delivery. Offer coupons on take-​out menu. Staple in our house for pizza night &/​or a quick meal.
