Unlike other companies, we do not have a one-​size-​fits-​all program. Instead, each student and his or her parents meet with the management of Bulldog Tutors to discuss the student’s struggles and academic goals. After a diagnostic session, our Director of Education maps out a personalized, winning strategy.

History

Established in 2012.

Bulldog Tutors employs only the world’s best tutors in order to instruct your children. Our tutors are exclusively Yale graduates and students that have scored in the top 1% on all tests that they teach. This is how we consistently deliver drastic score increases. Since our founding, we have provided customized, 1-​on-​1 tutoring across all academic subjects and to students of all ages. We take a personalized approach to instruction that targets students’ weaknesses and helps them succeed in subjects where they may have been underserved in traditional educational settings.

Business Owner

I know first hand the transformative power great teachers can have. Despite an early passion for chemistry experiments conducted under my parents’ bathroom sink, I found myself losing interest in my monotonous high school science lessons. That all changed when I wound up in the class of one outstanding high school chemistry teacher, whose enthusiasm set me on track to eventually become the valedictorian at Georgetown College and obtain a Ph.D. in theoretical biophysics from Yale.

I’ve tutored high school students in math and science throughout undergrad and graduate school, and while at Yale, I taught college classes in general chemistry and advanced quantum mechanics. Helping students succeed academically and understand complex subject matter ignited my own passion for teaching, and I carry that passion into my work for Bulldog Tutors.
