Visiting friends in town and happen to stumble across this store. Quite friendly staff, the owner was very helpful with wine pairings. This is definitely one of the better wine selections around — I found a couple of reds that I’ve been looking for quite some time, at the same time there were organic wines from vineyards that I tried and ended up liking. The spirits section is pretty impressive as well.

Best liquor store in new haven. Great selection including of craft beer. Owner is the nicest guy in the world and makes great wine recommendations. Nice interior and located in Little Italy so very much part of the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

This wine and beer shop has a nice variety of brew, including local and craft beers. This is what I appreciate the most, as I don’t drink wine often. I also think it’s the only beer shop in the area, so the fact that they carry things other than 30 racks of Natty Ice is great. It’s a decent size, and a good local shop.
It’s also a plus in a neighborhood that is in need of a proper convenience store or market. I’ll pop in here every once in a while just to grab a soda while wandering around the area. Throw in some snacks or every day food items and it’s a weekly stop.

Convenient location for those in the wooster area, friendly owner with good recommendations who’s also open to accommodate. Not a gigantic store, but there is a large enough selection (including some nice craft brews) to keep me happy.
