Are you getting rid of old furniture or appliances? From couches to refrigerators, TVs to computers, to entire house or basement/​attic clean outs, we do it all.

We partner with local charities to try to ensure that most of the stuff we take finds a new home. And we’ll get you a donation receipt that you can use to get a tax-​deduction for your donations.

And if you need commercial or industrial removal, we also are experts at removing that, too.

History

Established in 2004.

While studying abroad in Australia, our founder Josh «Shuki» Cohen had the lightning-​bolt of inspiration for the Junkluggers. A friend mentioned to Josh that he made $ 100 hauling away a refrigerator from a neighbor and Josh thought, «Hey, I can do that!»

Upon his return to the U.S., 21-​year old Josh hit the streets handing out homemade flyers in his hometown of Fairfield, CT. Soon the phones began to ring, and Josh quickly realized there was a demand for a reliable, professional and eco-​friendly removal service.

Armed only with his mom’s Dodge Durango SUV and a love for the environment, Josh revolutionized the hauling and removal industry by focusing on environmentally-​friendly and community-​oriented junk removal practices.

Since 2004, we have grown to a multi-​truck, multi-​state operation, employing a staff of nearly forty. Through all this growth, however, we have remained dedicated to recycling and Josh’s original mission of reliability and eco-​friendliness.
