Just had a battery replaced in my 2 year old MacBook Air 11″. Part, a reasonable $ 135. Labor, a grossly excessive $ 250 for a straight forward and quick repair. Be aware of outlandish repair pricing at this location.
Owner has since offered me a free year of cloud storage which I did not need. Fact remains, charging nearly $ 250 labor to replace a battery in a computer is outlandish. The right thing to do was to adjust the labor back to a more reasonable $ 125. Owner does not seem to want to flex. My advice to all, make sure you have a clear understanding of the cost to repair your machine at this facility before you turn it over and agree to the mandatory $ 90 diagnostic fee. Apple would have charged me $ 279 for the exact same repair including part.. I learned a $ 100 lesson but my loss could be your benefit.

Super friendly staff and decent inventory for it’s size. They have iPhone cases, Macs, peripherals, cables, and provide hardware fixing and maintenance. It’s great to have a local computer store in New Hope, and these guys are terrific! It is located on the same side of Bridge Street as Olivia’s Bridge Street Inn and Dunkin’ Doughnuts. It’s easy to walk to from the traffic light in New Hope.
