Normally I absolutely HATE going into hardware stores, I would actually prefer watching paint dry than shopping for it. But, I needed to get some paint samples so I begrudgingly went to Ace to shop for them. I ended up choosing 11 different colors altogether and each one had to be mixed for me, they do not have them in stock. If you’ve ever bought paint, you know this can take awhile. Multiply that by 11 and it’s basically your afternoon. Matt helped me and he was so patient and never complained once about how much paint he was mixing for me. He made sure to dab some paint on each swatch to make sure it matched. When one didn’t, he insisted on remaking it for me. Just really great customer service which I honestly did not expect. When I went to check out, Bert at the register made sure to find a box for me to carry out all of those cans of paint and even taped up the sides of the box to reinforce it for me. I still hate shopping at hardware stores but I wouldn’t mind going back to this one.

I love this place! They ALWAYS have everything I need and then some. I’ve been to this store at least 50 times in the past several years and they have NEVER not had what I came for! SO dependable with a great stock of items for both everyday items and the rare and unique things you wouldn’t expect them to have. I can’t stand going to Home Depot with the production that store is and the traveling to get there and back. This Ace hardware has very knowledgable staff that really know what they’re talking about. And they really give a genuine effort to please you and your needs. Pricing is pretty close to Home Depot and Lowe’s, but even on the higher priced items, it’s so worth it for the convenience! Great store with a real big selection with staff that are there to really help!

Very cramped store located in a basement. Makes me very uncomfortable as there are no windows. I only went there once, even though it is within a mile of my home. I have no intention of returning. I should mention that I am disabled and use a wheelchair or crutches. This store does have an escalator(which I can’t use) and an elevator, which I can use. There is no way for me, or anyone else with limited mobility, to exit in case of emergency such as fire or power outage.

There used to be a Pergament hardware store in this shopping center but they closed their stores awhile back. An ACE hardware store is now in the shopping center near where the Pergament used to be. It’s very convenient to have a medium sized hardware store in the neighborhood. The store is actually below ground, after you enter from the parking lot you take an escalator or stairs down to the actual store. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. Prices are about mid-range and they have some good sales. Their rewards card gets you $ 5 off coupons after you spend a certain amount. I’m glad a medium sized hardware is back in the neighborhood so I don’t have to trek out Home Depot for common items and have to dodge contractors wheeling lumber at Home Depot.

Lots of products. The price is higher than home depot but you get better customer service. The place is big.

They usually have everything need. Very convenient versus running over to a Home Depot. They pride themselves on friendly service and always willing to give advice.
