Had a school fundraiser here. The owner Jimmy was a pleasure to deal with. The staff is friendly and the food was good! The margarita was very yummy! Great place to go for a burger & a drink.

Comfortable at bar or tables. Relaxed neighborhood pub. I feel fine as single woman going in just for the best bar burger going. Bar staff attentive. People friendly not pushy. Music is awesome.

We had 10 ounce burgers cooked to perfection… the fries were well-seasoned and crisp. Cold beer, attentive service… and if you are into sports… they have 7 flat screen TVs in the bar. There is a private room for larger parties, and a great pub-style menu. By all means go… we’ll be back!

A rose by any name… This bar/restaurant has been there forever under one management or another. I went on Friday night. Admittedly, I did not eat. I had drinks while others in my party had food. The hot wings smelled amazing! Someone had a Caesar salad with fresh grilled chicken. The chicken was moist and delicious and the salad crisp and tasty. The band that played was great. It is family friendly and the music got one 9 year old dancing to the delight of the other patrons. So don”t be afraid to bring the kids.

I work a block away from this amazing establishment and thats pretty much the only reason I haven’t quit my job yet. Located just a few minutes away from the LiRR it’s almost impossible not to peak my head inside and order a few drinks on my way to the train. If my wife let me I would come here every night after work. Which is exactly what I do now because we’re divorced. The drinks are great, the food is great and the service is even better. What else can you ask for? How about a creepy old man who sits down outside and watches TV through the window, well they have that too. Trust me, take a later train and stop by the bar formerly known as Henry’s for a while, you won’t be disappointed and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get served by Matty, the greatest bartender in all the land.

Okay for a few drinks. Haven’t tried the food. Come here the last Tuesday of every month. They have an awesome Jam session with the top local musicians and singers on Long Island including Vince Prestianni, John Ray, Steve Guzband and Ian Petillo.

It would be stupendous to rate this place a negative number if it were possible –because only that could remotely reflect the experience here. Boyfriend and I walked in to a bunch of coked out cougars and their careless husbands but chose not to be bothered by it, and proceeded to order two drinks. I ordered a Black Label on the rocks, and being a Johnnie Walker connoisseur(haha — no but seriously.), I immediately noticed the smell and taste were that of Johnnie Walker RED Label. I then told the bartender that there must have been a mistake because that was not Black Label(even if it was poured from the Black Label bottle) as he showed me with a look of desperation trying to cover up management’s greedy tactics. He also gave me a look of anger and frustration and offered to open a brand new bottle of Black Label in front of me to give me the real stuff. That he did, and real it was. BUT! The old, clueless, drugged out owner and his handful of drunk old ladies, that should actually be home tending to their grandkids, came over to us because they were«offended» that I would accuse them of refilling their bottles with non-corresponding alcohol — ASTHEYDO — and asked us to leave. If it weren’t because I cherish my freedom and all around sanity, I would have thrown the two VISIBLY different colored Johnnie Walker drinks in his face the moment he, the owner, put his hands on mine and my boyfriend’s shoulder and asked us to leave for correcting his bartender. Thankfully, that I did not do. In all honestly, I was more surprised at the tantrum reaction by all of them, that I just laughed and called them a bunch of losers, and left. So if you’re looking for legitimate liquor beverages and a nice time that doesn’t include a bunch of people that are equally too old to be out, DONOTCOMEHERE. The experience was like an odd twilight zone, and the worst part is that they don’t give you the correct alcohol to at least semi tolerate it. Save your time, money and youth. Please.

This place has been around for years as Henry’s, and is now Walk Street Tavern. I’ve always had good experiences with the food and staff in this place. Reasonable prices on drinks. Decent local bar to visit, and has a nice outdoor seating area that is good during the summer time. The only downside to this place is that it attracts too many good-old-boy patrons who aren’t really too welcoming of outsiders, which means ethnic folks in many cases. I’m an Indian man who has lived here for over 20 years, and I went in there this past St. Patty’s day, and was actually made to feel very unwelcome by some Irish patrons who weren’t too keen on the fact that I seemed to fit the physical profile of what they deemed to be an Afghani terrorist, lol. The encounter was so stupid that i won’t get into it, but the patronage in this place is definitely something you want to consider if you’re venturing out here for a night out.

What is there to say other than mediocre food, mediocre service and no atmosphere! We came in on a beautiful week night to eat outside. After waiting a little while for a server to seat us in this near empty restaurant we were told that the outside area was closed for a private party. Sat down and ordered hamburgers. The burgers themselves were pretty good. The rolls were too big and a little stale and the fries that came with them were blah! There is absolutely no reason to return to this once good local pub.

It’s ok. Mediocre bar fare at best. Pulled pork sliders tasted like they were reheated in the microwave. My wave HATES meat reheated in the microwave and can taste it immediately. Buffalo chicken wrap was good, Philly cheese steak was blah. They’d be better off cooking up a nice steak for this rather than the steak-ums style meat that they served. Place looks better than the food actually is. Will return for drinks only, bar atmosphere was cozy.

I invited a a dozen friends to listen to Richie Gray play, and celebrate my birthday. Even though we were only going for drinks I called ahead to see if they could hold a table and they happily agreed. When four of us arrived an hour earlier than expected to have dinner, the table was waiting for us, and the waitress came to ask if I was the person who called. Dinner was simple bar food. I had the sliced steak, my fiancé had the burger, and our friends had the cheeseburger & philly cheesesteak wrap. We were all pleased with our meals, and especially with the warm and friendly waitress service. After dinner, Richie began to play, and slowly the place filled up. Throughout the evening I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, including the owner. I will definitely be going back again!

Wrote this on Henry’s Inn site, but since this is the official name of the restaurant, I’m reposting it here: Here comes my first one star rating. It all began when we entered the restaurant with no one to greet us. There were tons of people sitting at the bar and they all kind of just stared at us while we stood awkwardly for about 3 minutes. Finally I stopped a waitress and asked her if we were supposed to just sit down. She told us to sit anywhere. We took the first table we saw which was right near the bar. Warning: If you don’t like loud restaurants, this place is not for you. It was very loud where we sat, but I expected as much from a pub restaurant on a Friday evening, and it didn’t bother me much at all. I got a salad and a burger and my boyfriend got wings and a burger. There were so many things wrong with our food. First of all, I ordered my burger medium well, my boyfriend medium rare, yet they both came out exactly the same: dry, crumbly, and overdone. They were almost inedible. There is nothing worse than a burger that you almost choke on when you swallow it! Secondly, my boyfriend ordered sauteed onions which came out ten minutes after his burger did(he also had to remind the waitress twice for them). Finally, what kind of restaurant charges 50 cents per topping, including LETTUCE, TOMATO, RAWONION??? I’m sorry but you’re going to give me a crappy burger and then charge me .50 for a slice of ICEBERG lettuce??? I was appalled. Our waitress was nice, but the service was SOSLOW. We had to remind her twice to bring out the sauteed onion that was forgotten, and we had to ask her again to bring my boyfriend his second beer that he ordered when she brought our plates of food out. I had such a bad experience at this place. It’s unfortunate because I really wanted to like this place after the reviews it got on Unilocal.Save your money(because trust me, this experience did not end with a small bill) and avoid this loud, crowded place with over-priced, lousy pub food and slower than slow service.

Small wine list, small beer selection, but very friendly staff, near train station, I stopped in for a drink while waiting to pick someone up at the train and it served it’s purpose… I’ll come back

Formerly Henry’s Inn. They just changed the name for now. The menu and atmosphere are exactly the same as Henry’s. However, they have been approved to do major inside renovations so we will wait and see. The burgers, salads are the same. The sweet potato fries well done are always a hit. They have corona lights and a good selection of beers on tap. Local bands play on the weekends and they are fun and loud. The outdoor patio is huge and packed on the summer weekends. Great place for a fun night out.
