This place is a must go if you’re ever visiting New London or just want some delicious Thai food nearby. Food was fresh and delicious and decently priced. THAIICEDTEAIS A MUST! PS. Casey Neistat’s father’s café is right across the street; Muddy Waters Café!

Some of the best shrimp pad thai ive had in a long time. I was very impressed with the freshness of the shrimp. I also had the spicy smoked salmon roll from the sushi side. The salmon was also pretty fresh. My roll was good just not too sure if I would get that one again. The lighting inside is pretty dim and the ambiance is nothing fancy but the wait staff is friendly and tentative so thumbs up from me. Ive tried the other 2 thai restaurants close to this one in new london, but this one is definitely the best.

The positive reviews caught our interest and so an order of pad thai, green curry, and drunken noodles later, I can share that the food did not disappoint. The pad thai wasn’t the best I ever had but the drunken noodles were absolutely delicious!

Food is delicious! I come here almost every week! I’m not a big fan of spicy food and there are plenty of good options for me! I am obsessed with the chicken pad thai and the crab rangoons. I service is quick and staff is very friendly and attentive. The owners are there frequently and always interacting with customers. The restaurant itself is quite lovely. The new Sushi Side sushi bar is amazing too. Plenty of choices of classic rolls as well as yummy unique sushi items like sushi nachos(So good)!!

I order 6 food tonight. Tom yum is like salty soup. And salmon, Unaqi, el sashimi is just like frozen food you can buy at Walmart not even fresh. Pineapple Fried rice is just can eat. Not even taste and enjoy. Oh byw. The soy sauce they offered is the worst sauce I have taste in my entire life. Saltttttttttttt. The only two thing not bad is calamari and pad Thai. But it’s just compare the other food I ordered. Also. It’s with bar. Totally noisy. Will never come again. Bad food expensive price.

The food is delicious. The Tom Kha and Massaman curry are really yummy. However, the prices are incredibly high for such small portions. We spent $ 45 for delivery and got orders the size of our hands. There are other restaurants I would recommend that give you huge portions for around $ 30 so you can have leftovers. They also left off my Thai ice tea, which I wouldn’t normally care about but because we spent so much money it was a bit disappointing. It might be better with dine in, but I was definitely still hungry after finishing the dinner portions. If you’re going to eat here, go with dine-in. The delivery is not worth it, at all.

Delicious — basil chicken, green curry, chicken larb, papaya salad. Coming from Singapore, I’ve had some superb Thai food and I missed it very much. Since moving to the States, I’ve experienced my favorite dish green curry ruined with bamboo shoots, broccoli, red chili flakes, or it’s been too sweet at «authentic» Thai restaurants. None of that weird stuff at the Lazy Leopard. The food here brought a smile to my face and I don’t feel the need to search any further. Many thanks to the aunties and uncles working in the kitchen.

Quite possibly one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. It’s a little bit pricey, but the food is worth it. First, the service is second to none… especially when you’ve been served by the owner herself. She was super nice, and when asked for menu recommendation, suggested dishes that lived up to the hype. The curry had the right amount of heat and was slightly sweet but very flavorful. The vegetables in it were cooked perfectly. I got the zebra roll of sushi on the side; the tempura was fantastic. You’ll want to try their glass noodles, and their version of pad thai is the best on Bank St. If you come to Sailfest, seek them out and buy their food if they’re on the street. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic sushi. The dynamite roll was to die for! The duck fried rice was also delicious. The service was friendly and fast.

Overpriced. Food was fine but did not warrant the prices. I wasn’t like OMG. 3 small currie puffs $ 7, $ 2.33 a small puff??? 4 small beef sticks $ 7. $ 12 for a small meal??? Don’t be fooled by the nice decorations and attractive help. I will never waste my money there again.

The sushi nachos are a dream come true! The chicken wings are the best in town. And the pad Thai is great, and if you add a side of peanut sauce it makes it out of this world! And to make it all even better, they deliver, for a tired mama that loves good food, lazy leopard is a necessity!

Everything from this place is so freaking good! They also recently opened up a SUSHISIDE next door which is equally just as FREAKINGGOOD. The fish is so fresh and melts in your mouth just as real sushi should. We tried several different rolls, but if you want something a little more unique, definitely have the pink zebra roll. You’d be doing yourself a disservice by not checking either spots out. You will not be disappointed.

Great food! We were happy to find a Thai restaurant while staying at a nearby resort. We had a server who looked to be on her first day at the job, but she was very courteous. The spicy rice was flavorful like we expected although portions were not huge. We also had mixed drinks that were made perfectly. Definitely a spot I would return to if we go back to Littleton NH.

As good a Thai meal as I’ve ever had. The crab Rangoon and steamed mussels were a flight to the moon on gossamer wings. The curries were delicious and complex. go there right now!

Awesome food! I ordered delivery, the food got here in about 30 minutes. Thai ice tea just great! I ended up eating my dessert up first– I got coconut sticky rice and mango. Wow! Tasted very refreshing. The Penang curry and jasmin rice was great also. Definitely Enjoyed this place. It’s a must try.

As soon as I walk in I’m greeted by Alena. She was very attentive and even though I just ordered takeout she gave me a water while waiting. What a hidden gem. This beats jasmine Thai. I got the drunken noodles, delicious. 4 stars because of pricing is a bit high.

It’s good Thai food. It’s about 20−25% overpriced. We paid $ 86 for 3 people: 1 appetizer 3 entrees 1 beer 1 tea. It is good, but I’d sooner jump over to Friendly Thai i Groton, and get the same for ½ the price, and Friendly Thai is more authentic. But if you are careful with what you order, and you are downtown, it’s good! [I’ve eaten thai food all over the world and lived in thailand for extended periods]

Very good, fresh Thai food with the appropriate amount of capsaicin in a decent setting with reasonable prices. Service however left something to be desired, being somewhat indifferent and uninformed. Our server did provide some entertainment value though, telling one of our party who inquired as to the name of the body of water across the street«I don’t know. I’m not from here and I’ve only been here five years.» Hmmm.

My husband and I really love Thai food, and we were so sad when we thought the only game in town was the depressingly blah Jasmine Thai. When we found the Lazy Leopard, we were thrilled and literally went there three times in the span of one week. Dedication. On our first visit, we must have caught them training new staff, because it was a little chaotic and jumbled. We parked just outside on the street, were shown a table, and then it just sort of fell apart. The waitress was new and really didn’t have any answers to our clarifying questions about the drinks or the menu. Undaunted, we ordered the Pad Thai($ 11) with Shrimp(+$ 3), which was sort of sweet but plain, the Tom Ka Gai($ 6) which was zesty and delicious, and the Green Curry Fried Rice($ 12) which changed our LIVES. This rice was melt your mouth hot, with green curry and jalepenos, and a perfectly balanced saltiness with crisp veggies and sautéed onions. AMAZING. My husband ordered one of their bottled Thai beers, which the waitress brought the wrong one and ruffled at having to take it back, and I opted for their Leopard’s Breath, which was basically a sweet alcoholic Thai tea which I loved. On our return visit, we were battling a head cold so we called in a take out order, and asked for Pad Woon Sen(NOTYUMWOONSEN, totally different dish), which isn’t even on the menu, but they made it for us anyway. This was what caused us to go here three times in one week, this one incredible dish was the deciding factor and may very well have been the best pad woon sen we’ve ever had. It was perfect. I don’t even know what they charge for it, but we don’t care, it’s just that good. It’s so good that we have to order two of them because neither of us want to share it once we start eating it. After this, we did dine in recently and forced ourselves to try some new items to see what else the menu has to offer. We ordered the Veggie Gyoza($ 6) which was sadly undercooked and really boring, the General Tso’s Chicken and Shrimp($ 20ish) which was tangy but unremarkable, and the Panang Curry with Chicken($ 13) which was good with the sticky rice($ 3.5) which was served unappealingly in seran wrap and tasted as such. At that time I tried their other take on an alcoholic Thai iced tea, the Long Thailand, which was almost as good as the Leopards Breath, but the latter still takes the cake in my book. Prices are good, service once they finished training their staff has dramatically improved, and the dishes, as long as you know what to order, are outstanding. I would recommend just sticking with the really good coconut soup, the incredible green curry rice, and the life changing pad woon sen. The drinks are also not to be missed, and I’d probably stick with take out so you don’t have to wait. I really do hope they put the pad woon sen on the menu, because it would be a game changer! Take my word, and don’t miss it!

I loved this place. I stopped in while I was waiting for the ferry to Block Island and I did their lunch special Wonton soup — I was a little hesitant about soup on a hot day, but this was so flavorful. Everything in the soup worked well together. Drunken noodles — I got these noodles with tofu. I have been experimenting with spicier foods, and this was right on the cusp of what I can tolerate. They were delicious and the tofu was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely go back and agree with all the positive reviews of this place.
