Absolute Lawn Care LA, LLC Started as a small business in 2009. In the last 3 years we have grown by leaps and bounds. Our staff has over 12 years experience in Landscape Design, Irrigation Installation, Outdoor Lighting, Patio Installation, and Drainage. We have a Licensed Horticulturist, Arborist, Commercial Pesticide Applicator, and Irrigation Contractor on staff.

Extremely overpriced for basic services. They did a decent job on my front yard but I was astonished by the high cost of the service. They also missed a flower bed on the side of the house. The owner put a piece of used, old scrap metal to line one of my flower beds to match the others that were already lined. When I asked him why he didn’t use something that matched, he replied, «oh, we don’t use that. I gave you that piece for free.» Yeah, thanks a lot for a piece of crappy leftover metal I didn’t even ask you to put there when you could have gotten something that matched for probably $ 3 at Home Depot. He also put dead grass on an area that had been tunneled and sanded and told me it would «turn green over time.» One year later, it’s still dead and brown. Would not recommend.

Incredibly expensive for basic maintenance. Just too much. If you need trees or shrubs taken care of, they’re very good.
Also, with regard to lawn maintenance, they will not sweep or bag leaves or debris, they use blowers only. So basically they blow stuff around. Not sure why anyone would pay for that.

They did a good job with my yard. But they are completely inflexible on the schedule. They cut every week in the summer and my yard can’t handle a cut every week. It was just turning into mud and killing all the grass. I was fine with their service every two weeks in the winter.

I hired Absolute Lawn Care for a small landscaping project in my front yard based on recommendations from neighbors that have been utilizing their services. Everyone I dealt with from the office staff to the team that came to my property were professional, organized and helpful. My garden beds have never looked better. I am considering them for maintaining my lawn, I love that they offer an auto-​debit feature which means I never have to think about it. The pricing is competitive and explained thoroughly. Seriously — if you have a project or want some lawn care without a headache or a second mortgage, this is the best I’ve found in New Orleans.

We just moved into a brand new house and the previous owners REALLY let the place go while the house was under contract. We needed to get the lawn under control before a housewarming that evening, Absolute not only sent a team out day-​of with short notice, but they did an INCREDIBLE job. Literally transformed our backyard.
The people that work there are friendly and professional. I highly recommend their services.

Absolute Lawn Care saved me from myself (and my brown thumb). My lawn stays short and pretty, my garden bed is flourishing, the Ligustrum and Asian Jasmine (oh THAT’S what that is) out front have made my neighbors envious, and both sales and crew were a pleasant surprise. Go local and call these guys so your house looks as pretty as mine.

Absolute Lawn Care did an excellent job renovating the landscaping of our newly purchased home in New Orleans. They replied to my initial inquiry quickly. They provided a detailed quote and were able to schedule the job within 10 days of my approval. Their crew was efficient and cleaned up after themselves. The scope of work included removing existing shrubs, trees, and pavers; renovating and reshaping garden beds; installing all new plants; rebuilding a pergola; trimming a tree; removing a large overgrown vine, removing a fountain, installing a new fountain, removing concrete walkways and replacing them with gravel paths.
They are easy to do business with and responded to both phone calls and emails quickly.

I called Absolute Lawn Care to request that my lawn be mowed. I was told that someone would go by the property, and then I would receive an estimate. An estimate of $ 35 was emailed to me later that day, which I accepted.
Two days later, I received a bill for $ 210. This led to a variety of email exchanges and ultimately a phone call with the owner, Robert. I personally think that the estimate could have been explained more clearly and that my concerns should have been addressed differently than they were initially. However, it seems to be worked out at this point and I will continue to use them.

Don’t sign the free invoice. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! There service is a joke. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER. Also DO NOT ACCEPT THE INVOICE BY E-​MAIL. It is a trap. You are not accepting an invoice you are accepting a 6 month contract for service. Be advised that the owner is rude and will not let you out of they contract if you mistakingly accept what you think is an invoice. Be warned. Please choose another company for you lawn care needs.

This service was HORRIBLE. They have a «CONTRACT» that’s vague. In fact, you don’t even realize you are in a contract when you ask them to cut your grass! They show up when they want to, not when YOU want them, and they don’t do good work. They send different crews each time and don’t do consistent work. The owners are disgustingly rude and yelled at me over the phone! I am reporting them to the BBB and calling the media. Absolute lawn care is the worst, most unprofessional group I have ever used.
