Alltmont’s Fine Custom Framing specializes in custom framing, using only conservation-​grade archival materials, and has an extensive selection of mouldings and mats to choose from. We also offer finish-​corner frames, custom shadowboxes, read-​made frames, as well as original artwork by local artists and collectable antique prints.

Alltmont’s provides Do-​It-​Yourself framing: bring your artwork, choose your mat and frame, and receive instruction from one of our experienced framers so you can start framing on your own!

History

Established in 2010.

Alltmont’s opened in 2010, but the building has operated as a frame shop since the 60s. The current owner, Jeffrey Alltmont, was born and raised in New Orleans, and started his framing business here after the former framing business, Enoch’s, closed its doors.

Business Owner

Jeff Alltmont was born and raised in New Orleans. After attending art school in Atlanta and working in advertising in New York and D.C., Jeff found framing and worked towards opening his own shop in New Orleans, where he wanted to raise his family.

With over a decade of experience in framing, Jeff can take on any custom framing project with knowledge and a love for the craft.
