VIP Ham YA HERD!
Chisesi’s is a true staple of New Orleans and they make a darn good ham! After Katrina it took quite awhile for them to get back up and running, but when they did the quality and what people have grown to love over the years never changed. Why is this such a big deal you may ask? Well to me, New Orleans and traditions go hand in hand and a lot of local place tried to reinvent themselves if you will after Katrina while others kept to what they know best and Chisesi did just that.
You can find Chisesi ham at just about every grocery in the city, even Wal Mart and on a busy Saturday in the deli section you will hear just about every customer asking for their Chisesi’s ham. It is the best around and if you haven’t tried it, you should!

Oh Chisesi, how I love your ham.
In my opinion, Chisesi ham is the best ham available. Every local store carries their VIP ham, and there is no better ham sandwich than one made with Chisesi ham.
I think you can even buy a whole ham for baking.
I realize this isn’t the best review, but Damn I love this ham.
