History

Established in 1986.

Durable Slate was started in Columbus, Ohio in 1986 repairing slate roofs in Central Ohio. Since then, we have branched out with 3 offices in Ohio, 1 in Florida, and 1 in Louisiana. We have worked on slate, tile and sheet metal roofing in over a dozen states in the Eastern United States. During which we’ve won: over a dozen «Craftsmanship of the Year» awards, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Safety Award, the NRCA’s Gold Circle Award numerous times for the Project of the Year, the Better Business Bureau’s International Torch Award for Market Place Ethics, and many many more.
