Fur De Lis Mobile Veterinary Services, LLC was started in January of 2014 by Ashley Tahir, DVM. Dr. Ashley is a New Orleans native with a desire to bring individualized home Veterinary care to her hometown and surrounding areas. Prior to starting Fur De Lis Mobile Veterinary Services, Dr. Ashley worked in a large and busy general practice locally for 2 years. At that time, she saw a need for quality Veterinary care in a setting that would allow pets to be more comfortable and natural rather than an overcrowded waiting area and stressful exam room at a Veterinary clinic. For most pets, especially those with anxiety or cats, there is no place more comfortable than home to receive their Veterinary care!

Dr. Ashley is fantastic! She was able to assist with a minor eye emergency with my foster pet while at pet fest. She dropped talking with the crowd to help out and was so nice and friendly even with an unexpected request/​demand for her time and services. She was great with my foster dog (and my dog who was tagging along) and has a great calm and gentle demeanor which is always appreciated!

Dr. Ashely is the best! I came in from LA Maltese has an eye infection and Dr. Ashely, was very smart, sweet and knew her stuff. She met us at the hotel, gave my little guy a quick check gave him some meds and we’re on our way. Thanks again! Recommend her to anyone from out out town that wants great service and great pricing!

Dr. Ashley from Fur De Lis Mobile Veterinary Services, LLC is fantastic. She came to my house to give my cat her annual exam/​shots/​rabies vaccination, etc. She is professional, thorough, knowledgeable and super sweet. She uses higher quality vaccinations than are available at most vets so they last longer. She was also more affordable than the vet I had been going to and was able to tell me what the visit would cost when I called her. I even bought my cat’s Revolution from her. I will never drive to the vet again (unless Dr. Ashley opens a clinic.)

After our first home visit by Dr. Tahir at Fur De Lis Mobile Vet Services we have decided to switch our veterinarian. I have a very sensitive dog that does much better in his home environment. I was blown away by how mobile a service could be. Dr Tahir had everything she needed for a check up visit and an unexpected eye diagnosis. Through Dr Tahir’s vast network, a specialist referral was made ASAP and my four legged child was seen and treated by the specialist. This is all attributed to Dr Tahir’s genuine concern and follow up. To top it all off… When services were paid I was blown away by the price for such a personalized service that was conveniently done in my home. My pup and I would recommend this service and Dr Tahir to any pet lover.

Dr. Ashley is an incredibly intelligent and sensitive Vet. She takes care of my difficult cat who hates shots and flea meds put on him. Dr. Ashley rewards him with treats afterwards and it makes the experience better than going to an office. I highly recommend her for your pets. Whats better than the Vet coming to you like back in the old days when other doctors made house calls too?!
