Specialties
We are a classic New Orleans Barber Shop. We specialize in men’s haircuts and children’s haircuts with an emphasis on providing first class customer service and good conversation.
History
Established in 2004.
Mr. Chill’s Barbershop originally opened it’s doors in 2004 successfully serving the Broadmoor community until the location was destroyed during Katrina in August of 2005. As the city began its slow recovery from the damage of Katrina, shop owner, Mr. «Chill» Wilson served his community by cutting hair for those who remained in the city and those here as first responders. Mr. Wilson set up a generator under a tent and spent the next 17 months at the former shell station on South Claiborne avenue and Napoleon Avenue.
The barbershop has now been in it’s current location on Carrollton ave. for a few years and continues to provide the best haircuts in New Orleans while serving the public through many initiatives dedicated to bringing voice and uplifting communities.
