NOCHC’s personal statement: Therapy is useful in helping individuals cope with stress; improving relationships with significant others; addressing behavioral issues with children and adolescents; enhancing family dynamics; and strengthening overall well-​being.

Hypnosis is a useful therapy by itself or can be used to further the client’s experience with traditional therapy.

NOCHC values the healing qualities of a strong relationship between client and therapist.

At NOCHC, we use a variety of techniques to encourage better coping skills and self-​care. NOCHC provides options to incorporate clinical hypnosis into treatment.

Went to see Hope Gersovitz for couples counseling about 8 months ago, it was okay I guess — but what concerns me more is that I cannot confirm Hope Gersovitz’s credentials. The website indicates that she has a PhD from «California University» — A quick google search shows that there exists one California University in California, Pennsylvania, but they don’t have a doctorate program.

Further investigation shows that her LinkedIn has conflicting information and that she apparently got a PhD in two years from «Alpha University» — an online degree program without accreditation from any federally recognized body.

Why she may be misrepresenting herself I can’t say, but it is a very disconcerting possibility given the conflicting information.

Worst therapy experience I have EVER have. Gersovitz has no business being a couples’ counselor. She was in no way supportive or constructive. I will never go back.
