History
Established in 2012.
Nola Potter Fine Art By Jennifer Blanchard began in 2012 with the loss of a friend and fellow potter Michele Davis I decided to continue with our plan of having a pottery together and named the business in her memory (Michele’s blog name was Nola Potter). In May of 2013 I opened my first gallery in Algiers Point at 240 Pelican Avenue. Soon after opening the gallery major negative changes were made to the ferry service to Algiers Point from the French Quarter and that led to my closure of the gallery in October of 2014. Starting in November 2014 Nola Potter moved to the Eastbank as a pop-up shop in The Green Eyed Gator Gallery. The gallery had a wide variety of mediums and gift items. In May of 2015 The Green Eyed Gator closed its doors.
Nola Potter is now available at Gumbo Marie’s Creole Shop on Bayou Road, online at www. NolaPotter.com, and by appointment. Please follow Nola Potter L.L.C. on Facebook to stay up to date on upcoming gallery openings and festivals.
