Reds, Whites, and the Blues

This is a food and wine event organized by the Gambit to benefit the Foundation for Entertainment Development and Education. They have over 100 red and over 100 white wines at this annual event. This is, by far, one of my favorite food and wine events of this type in the entire area as they NEVER run out of food or drink for the ENTIRE duration of the event (UNLIKE many other events that rapidly run out of items and have long lines). They always have an interesting selection of other beverages such as various liquors and I had mead once. The food has always been fantastic and honestly you just need to skip eating all day prior to this event as they have so much fantastic food. There is always a good crowd here but it has never been crowded so they have perfectly planned this event and spread out the tables enough so that there is never a long line and you’re always comfortable inside and then it has always been easy to find seating outside where the music is. I’ve attended this event for years and I’ve always had a fantastic time but I barely remember any of the music as I’ve been so busy feasting and drinking.
