At Sail NOLA we specialize in Private Sailing Lessons and Private Sailing Cruises on Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lessons and Cruises are offered year round 7 days a week to fit our client’s schedule.

Frank J.

Business Owner

Frank Jones is a 15 year New Orleans «native» living with his wife and their two daughters in an uptown camelback shotgun. He was born on the shores of Lake Ontario and has been boating his entire life. He started sailing while living in Connecticut in 1988. He has obtained five American Sailing Association Certifications, as well as, a Moorings «Captain» designation certifying him to solo sail any boat anywhere in the world. Wishing he had more time to do so, Frank has sailed up and down the coast of California, around the Caribbean Islands, in Long Island Sound, on Lake Dillon outside Denver, on Lake Ontario, the Florida Keys, and most recently to Ranague Cay off the coast of Belize Central America. He currently keeps his sailing fleet on Lake Pontchartrain where he and his wife can be found chasing the sunset whenever the time and winds allow.
