Definitely very old bar, you can tell by all the dust on the helmets hanging on top of the bar and all over the walls. They might promote it to show how old the bar is but as a slightly OCD person, it bothers me. Clean it up please. It’s hard to get the attention of the bartender lady. I understand it’s busy but in that case hire someone else. I saw someone actually leave without paying the tab because they got tired of trying to get the bartenders attention to close out.

If I could give zero stars I could. Went in with some CEO’s of companies that I represent & we were skipped over for drinks for 20 minutes. They served people that just walked in and when we kindly asked if we would be the next party served the seasoned waitress said«can you wait until I finish what I’m doing?!» It was such a rude response when we were obviously being passed over. No thanks. Will never give them my business. Ever. Was excited to order some $ 20 absinthe drinks but this place is a complete waste of time #offendedandtickedoff

Terrible service. Sat at our table while watching other tables getting served. Slowest bar ever for not having anyone there. I will never walk in these doors again.

I read previous reviews, and that’s sad. I had a pretty good experience. I hold customer service to the highest standard too, meaning I don’t care how good food may be or how awesome the place is. If service sucks, I give a mediocre review(though I will point out the positives) and won’t go back. The bartenders weren’t the friendliest people but they weren’t rude either. They just sort of did their jobs and moved on. I do think they could better tend to the patrons. My assumption is the place would be a lot busier if they did. The shot was pretty good though. Now, I lived in Paris for a while in college, and I can say firsthand that absinthe there is on an entirely different level. But, the experience here was similar and it was def Absinthe. Worth the experience. Just don’t be naïve. The bartenders job us to up-sell, and they sure will. Order a drink for yourself and stay in control.

STAYAWAY! Absolutely rude service! No alcohol in the $ 8 shots. Complete waste of money! If anyone from this place tries to be friendly, chances are they are just trying to make money off of you. The people who sell the shots make a commission off of them and will do anything to get you to buy them including flat out lie to you on the price. I wanted to try the food and get a couple drinks but after the«shot» guy ripped us off, we wanted absolutely nothing to do with the business. I hate businesses that operate like this. Why hire these rude lying idiots if it’ll completely ruin your reputation?

Rip off!!! Shot girl called us in set down two shots for both of my friends, two for herself, and 4 for me. I asked how much she said $ 2 a piece. By my math that $ 20! She then charged me $ 40! Shots had VERY little alcohol in them as well. Would NOT recommend!

Don’t buy the shots! Pure sugar water. So are the daiquiris.
