Super high end shopping mall at the end of Canal Street. Not a big mall because the stores are basically only on the first two floors. Interestingly, the third floor features a movie theater and a sort of low end food court that seems out of place. I guess we’re saving money to go shopping instead of eating. Then again, people who shop on the first two floors really aren’t totally into saving money!

If you’re used to major shopping malls, you should re-​calibrate your expectations because this is not one of them. It’s got a number of upscale shops, but I wouldn’t even put it in the same league as, say, Boston’s Copley Place. However, it offers a nice respite from the heat and crowds of nearby French Quarter, so if that’s all you’re looking for, then totally stop by.

This is the only mall in this area other than the outlet. Surprisingly it’s smaller than it looks from the outside and there’s not a lot of shops. The anchor tenant is Saks so they take up most of the space with the rest allocated to banana republic, brooks brothers, Tiffany’s, Louis Vutton, Armani, Ann Taylor and a few other stores plus some local shops. There’s also a big movie theatre on the third floor.
I went in here to cool off for a bit but otherwise not much going on here and there wasn’t much foot traffic.

Nice place to browse some expensive shops and escape the heat. Even have a movie theatre located on the third floor. The elevators, I would avoid though. They move quick, which is awesome, but not suggested for those who get motion sickness. They have escalators instead. Not many of the stores were of interests to me, but it was a nice change of scenery.

Awesome shopping this mall is great and has every store I love to shop at the parking is very close customer service is awesome.

Looking to do some shopping and I was not impressed by this indoor mall at all. I spent $ 20.00 in parking and nothing in the mall. Maybe my expectations of a shopping mall are too high, being from Vegas doesn’t help.
Well I guess we will try the shops at the riverwalk next

This is a small upscale mall. The Saks store is quite large and seems to dominate the entire place. We came to see a movie and were doing some shopping also. They have a food court but we did not try it. The parking is a bit difficult, but it is covered so you will stay dry if it is raining out.

Pretty cool place. We had a mega bitchy baby so we didn’t get to do much other than run through. Much bigger than expected.

This place should be burned to the ground. First of all the canal place parking garage elevators do not work right. Then when you take the stairs to the bottom you can’t get out — there are no signs — you really have to take the stairs to the fourth floor then take another elevator to the lobby of the shops — there is only one restroom for a 3 floor shopping mall — I’m no fire Marshall but I don’t think that is legal — the bathroom is crowded as he’ll and shitty — don’t stop to poop here. Speaking of fire Marshall if there was a fire in the shops or garage everyone would die — signs are not clear for exits and nobody can get out

A nice clean multiple story mall that really isn’t that large or offers you nothing from other malls across this country. Across the street from the Harrah’s and nestled next to the French Quarters. If you’re looking for a change in pace from typical Nawlins, then you could head here, although from a shopping experience, the outlet mall offers a lot more shops.

A place to shop as a nonstandard local point of interest if you need a departure from boozing, gambling, whoring, and doing other traditional New Orleans things we all have on the standard laminated agenda. I appreciated the air conditioning to cool down in as an escape from the oppressive sun and heat outside; though none of the shops were really my thing. It was a cheap shopping adventure for me, though still worth doing if you need to get out of the sun for a few minutes.

This is a really high end mall. There were several stores that I was not familiar with but were super expensive. It was nice to walk around in here; however if you’re not looking to spend major dollars then walking around is all you’re going to want to do in this place. There is a movie theater on the third floor.

I’m definitely a fan of Canal Place. I was saddened by the period of time in which the shops weren’t all that great (anyone remember when Pottery Barn was actually in there?) But now it seems that Canal Place is making a comeback. I’m so thrilled!

The Shops at Canal is a nice middle-​to-​upper end mall right across from Harrah’s Casino. If you win big at the tables, you can head over and blow it all here!
It’s not the biggest mall around — there are three floors but it doesn’t seem like there’s too much on the 3^rd floor. For mass market stores, they have a White House and Banana Republic & for more upscale they’ve got an Anthropologie and Brooks Brothers. At the top end, there’s Tiffany, Armani, BCBG and a very nice Sak’s outpost.
The mall was clean and wasn’t at all crowded — I’m guessing that it’s probably a different story during Mardi Gras or on the weekends. If you’re visiting NO, it’s very conveniently located on Canal right at the river.

This is a pretty nice looking mall but that’s the only nice thing I can really say about it. On my visit it seemed like we were the only people there, It was a ghost town. The mall is not huge but it’s pretty large, in fact, larger than I expected having three floors. The food court was closed when I was there for some reason but didn’t look that appealing anyway. I definitely wouldn’t eat there with all the other great places to eat in New Orleans. The third floor was a little sketchy because it was so desolate and anything could happen up there and I didn’t notice any security through out the mall. The outside of the movie theater looked pretty cool but we didn’t come to New Orleans to watch movies so we didn’t venture in any further than the entrance. I don’t know that I would shop here if I lived in this city because there weren’t any stores that I really shop at here.

Great place for window shopping, especially if you are trying to waste a little time waiting for a movie to start at the theater. Fantastic stores that are really nice with an upscale feel. There are a little expensive, but not too bad.
One complaint-​man oh man do I hate the parking garage attached to this place. It is super narrow and has one of those «roundabouts» that get you from one floor to the next. I am always so scared that I’m going to hit the wall. So yeah, I’m a chicken, so I just end up parking in the lot right across the street in order to save my sanity.

This is where most of the better quality national stores in New Orleans are to be found. I’ve also attended some decently fun events here such as «Sippin’ in Seersucker.» They also currently have the only full service food and beverage movie theater in the New Orleans area. I primarily have utilized this location for their parking garage and the excellent Brooks Brother’s store.

This is a terrible place to take your girlfriend if she has any sort of shopping addiction, and you have an aversion to amassing enormous amounts of credit card debt.
However, if she is independently wealthy, by all means bring her here and turn her loose.* She will love it. It reminds me of The Westchester (in Westchester, NY) in that every brand that makes you laugh in disbelief at the pricetags is well-​represented (Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Coach, etc.). Nearly every store is high end, and the service is excellent as well.
If your lady is actually a fan of more reasonable prices, Francesca’s is apparently the only option. However, they do have a few flattering dresses in there,** and the salesgirl is quite nice.
For the gentleman, Banana Republic is around, and they have quite a large Brooks Brothers as well. I learned that Brooks Brothers doesn’t just make boxy suits, but surprisingly nice shoes as well.
Beware of the smoothie stand upstairs: they are 90% ice and should be completely ashamed of themselves.
