If you want to dispose of automobiles, large sheets of metal etc then this is your place. If you have a bag full of cans from kitchen use that you don’t want to throw in the dump, then the kindly gentlemen who work here will laugh at you and then laugh even harder when you start babbling about recycling. If you drink a lot of soda or beer in a can, you can bring your empty cans here to recycle them or just call the city and get one of those brand new 64 gallon recycling bins. (Hooray for recycling coming back to Orleans Parish!)
