Just a follow up. I’ve been getting my haircut at Alex’s for over a year now. It’s a family owned shop and all the guys seem to have satisfied customers. If you’re looking for a barbershop in the area you should check it out.
Parking:
I used to park on the street because the shop doesn’t have a parking lot. However, there’s a closed supermarket just south of the barber shop which is about 100ft away. People still park in the supermarket parking lot and walk to several stores in the area. Take a look on Google Maps and you’ll see how close the parking lot is to the barbershop.

Excellent barber. Anybody who has read my reviews knows I like old school. This place reminds of the place I grew up going to. I went the first time with a friend who had an idea for a haircut for me. We found something in the sample books, showed it to Max and he did me right. Went back again and sat with Alex, the owner (Max’s father). Also got an excellent haircut. I have thick, straight hair and a cow lick in the back. Each time I’ve gone, I have felt great about the haircut. And they do all the clean up touches right (ears, eyebrows). Even uses the straight razor with shaving cream on the back of my neck. I love that! I was going to Supercuts in White plains, but the haircuts are not great and the attitude is worse. Same price for a men’s cut at Alex’s place and definitely the vibe I seek. I won’t go anywhere else.

Been coming here since my Daughter’s 4th grade Father-​Daughter dance at school. (Now a Jr. At college). And even though some of the faces may have changed the quality and craftsmanship have not!!! I have never seen a dissatisfied customer! So for as long as the shop remains I will be a loyal and satisfied client! Hats off to Alex and the boys!!!
