My father started his own plumbing company and I began working with him in 2006. I decided to follow in his footsteps and opened my own plumbing company, ASAP Plumbing, to continue providing the quality and professional service that he taught me.

Samba is great! We are happy to have found a dependable plumber near by.
We had two burst pipes and some trouble with our water heater. Samba was quick to come the same day that we called and returned multiple times, to check that everything was in order. I highly recommend :)

I needed a plumber last night because of a steam pipe leak in my basement. I searched here on Unilocal and came across ASAP Plumbing reviews and was pleased with what I read. I called spoke with Samba and we made an appointment for today. He called before coming and text when he was on his way. He was very professional and was very clear in explaining the options I had. After completing the job, he left instructions to make sure to check again after my boiler company reset my boiler and call back if necessary. Love the service he gave and appreciate the fact he loves what he does. He is a keeper! Thank you Samba!

My husband and I can’t thank Samba enough for arriving in the middle of a blizzard on such short notice on the coldest February weekend. To make a story short, we thought we had a pipe leak and within 2 minutes after he arrived he found the culprit and saved our home from what could have been a total disaster. Thank you Samba!!!
He checked the pipes, appliances and faucets to see where the leak was coming from.

I called Samba at 7pm on a Friday night because my toilet wouldn’t flush and trying to repair it myself made the problem worse. Samba told me he would be at my house in 20 minutes! He was true to his word and fixed the toilet (he brought over the right parts) and fixed a leaking pipe. He also fixed the slow flush problem that thought was unfixable due to the age of the toilet. I couldn’t be happier with the work and his unbelievably lightning quick response. Price was more than fair! I highly recommend Samba and will be keeping his number.

I called Samba early in the morning and he was at our house withing 1.5 hours. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was courteous and fixed the problem immediately. We will definitely use him again. They don’t come better.

Samba saved our house from drowning on Sunday after Thanksgiving!
I called three other plumbers, but none were able to come to the house. Samba was very punctual and texted me once he was on the way. He fixed the leak! My mother was so impressed with his skills that she found him two more projects for Monday.

Samba, the owner, responded immediately to my needs which was finding the source of a water leak. I called at 7:30 am and he was at my house in Scarsdale within ½ an hour. I can’t even get pizza that fast!
He diagnosed the source and the pipe was repaired within and an hour.
His rates were more than fair and combined with his positive attitude and professionalism made finding my new go to plumber a pleasure.

Summary: Professional, immediate service with good communication. Serves the entire NYC Area, including Manhattan. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
I dropped something and put a hole in my vessel sink and needed someone to replace it. I ordered the new sink on-​line and only needed plumber installation. It’s always tough to find home improvement talent in the NYC market who are dependable and also isn’t completely booked for weeks, so I tried a home related website (sorry Unilocal… but now, he has a review, so helping to build your database!).
Anyway, as soon as I post, I get a call from this guy at ASAP Plumbing named Samba. He asks about the job, I describe it, and he shows up within the hour. Soup to nuts he was out in 32 minutes, and that’s only because I didn’t tell him in advance that the vessel was glued down. Apparently Samba comes from a family of Senegalese plumbers and has been doing it for 10 years. He looks like a pretty young guy, so he must have literally grown up in the business.
He told me he’s been growing his client base separate from dad since 2007 or 2009 or something.
Anyway, he understood the sensitivities of Co-​ops and what that means in the way of professionalism (my building is tough). I haven’t hired a ton of plumbers in New York, but my feeling is that he’s going to be very competitive on pricing. That is especially so if you live in the city.
Anyway, I’m all about helping small business owners who provide good service grow. This guy did a solid job, so Unilocal community feel free to check him out.
