I thought there was something seriously wrong with me. My eyes were blurry, i was nauseous, and couldn’t even watch TV. When I told Frank he said I should let Dr. Deutscher
check me out. I was very hesitant but did it. I can’t say enough about this doctor. She was patient, understanding and listened. She gave options based on my life style and life situation as to which type of prescription would be best. I still didn’t believe that it was my eyes. I was leaving on a trip where i needed my glasses in two days and they did it for me. A few days later, my eye problems were GONE! They filled the prescription just right. I just moved to Chicago, and called THEM to fill another order for me. Sent the glasses to NY and they’re mailing them back to me.

I went to this doctor to get a check up because I was experiencing some pain in my eyes but SOMEHOW when I left I paid over $ 700 for glasses. I’m not a person who is easily susceptible to marketing tactics but I don’t play when it comes to my eyes because I have pretty bad eyesight.
I came here because it was close to where I was living at the time and I was STUDENT, you would think that they would be considerate and just check my eyes and let me be on my way but no they suggested I get new glasses when I later found out that I really didn’t need.
In addition to me having to pay $ 700 out of pocket the glasses wasn’t even brand name, just regular no-​name glasses. I couldn’t afford groceries for the rest of the month, thanks a lot Bright Eyes.
The doctor is ok, and I’m not going to doubt that she knows what she’s doing but don’t push it on me to make more money! Others seem to have good experiences, mine wasn’t.

I was really excited to pay this place a visit. I’m all about supporting local businesses and go out of my way to avoid «chains». Making an appointment here was relatively easy and finding parking was a cinch.
Now here is where everything went downhill… They charge roughly 20 percent more for their items in the brick and mortar store vs their online store… makes no sense. First off, a year supply of these particular lenses cost $ 240 EVERYWHERE… including higher end shops in Greenwich, CT. These guys were trying to charge 260 online… ehhh, not a huge deal. If you buy them in the store, they charge 320… again… not a huge deal.
Then they proceed to talk about all types of extra fees associated with the eye exam… I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 14… Started wearing contacts when I was 20, and I’m 30 now… never have I been asked to pay all of these extra «fees». Maybe I came in on a bad day, maybe my mood was off (it really wasn’t… beautiful day, got my car washed, hit the empty gym and had an awesome lunch prior to coming here), but I really can not recommend these guys simply because of all these hidden undisclosed fees. I’m taking my business back to Cohens for now… If I want to get bent over, I’ll see a proctologist.

Months ago, I stopped in to have a pair of glasses adjusted. The optician, Frank was friendly and the adjustment was perfect! A few months later when my husband and I needed new glasses we decided to try Bright Eyes. Frank spent a lot of time with us picking frames that were the right color and fit our facial features. He also explained many of the lens options in detail. My experience with the Dr. was also fabulous! My prescription can be difficult to get right and she was willing to trial lens in a frame twice before my lens were ordered. The prescription is perfect! And, both my husband and I look great. It’s also worth mentioning that their prices are very reasonable. Before buying we checked a few other places.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Deutscher’s for three years now and she’s most excellent! She’s very knowledgable and down to earth. Her other staff are helpful and friendly when it comes to making appointments and trying on new glasses. The environment is excellent and I highly recommend visting Bright Eyes Optometry.

Hello Westchester friends. I don’t normally do this, but it is rare that I have such a good experience at a doctor’s office that I really just had to pass this on. Neither myself nor my kids had an real eye exam in a while (meaning more than the simple test they do at the pediatrician’s office) and I decided it was time to do so. By sheer coincidence, I met a woman at a birthday party, whom I immediately clicked with, who just happened to be an Optometrist, and who had opened a new office in New Rochelle. Since I did not have an eye doctor, I decided to give her a try, on a whim. My boys and I all had exams there on Saturday and it was a great experience. The office was clean and bright (with free parking), the exam ran on time and the kids were engaged enough to participate exactly as they needed to, even my wandering little one. When it turned out one of my kids needed glasses, the optician was just as excellent and professional and my boy walked away both really excited about wearing glasses and with a pair he looked great in. They also take most forms of insurance, so for the exam I only had to pay our usual doctor’s office co-​pay.
